I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content The learners demonstrate an understanding of the underlying theories in
Standards solving problems related to work activities.
B. Performanc The learners shall be able to independently performs solving problems
e Standards related to work activities

C. Learning Competency:
Competency L.O.1 Define analytical techniques, such as: brainstorming, case-
effect diagram, PARETO Analysis, SWOT analysis, Gantt Chart, PERT
CPM and graphs, and scattergrams. TLE_AFAACP9-12SPW-Ic-10
Learning Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
1. Explain the analytical Technique
2. Apply the different analytical technique in solving problems
related to daily life living.
II. CONTENT Solve Problems Related to Work Activities (Explaining the
Analytical Techniques)

A. Reviewing Before the Lesson
Previous A. Daily Routine
Lesson or - Prayer
Presenting - Greetings
the New - Classroom Management
Lesson - Conducted Classroom Rules Orientation
- Checking of Attendance
The teacher will begin the lesson by a “quick kamustahan” and asking
students to share their previous knowledge about solving problems
B. Motivation Quick Visit

Students will go to their respective cleaning area. They will going to find
out what major problem happened in their area. Representative from the
different area will share their observation on what and why the problem
occur.
C. ACTIVITY Teacher will start with a brief discussion on how decision-making is
essential in various fields and use a real-life scenario (e.g., planning an
event or beautification of the backyard) to illustrate the need for
analytical techniques.
Discussion Prompts:
 "What challenges do you face when making decisions?"
 "Can you think of a time when a structured approach
helped you solve a problem?"

D. ANALYSIS Group Work on Analytical Techniques

Teacher will divide the class into small groups. Assign each group one
analytical technique to research and prepare a brief presentation on.
 Techniques Assigned:
 Group 1: Brainstorming
 Group 2: Cause and Effect Diagrams
 Group 3: Pareto Analysis
 Group 4: SWOT Analysis
 Group 5: Gantt Chart
 Group 6: PERT
 Group 7: CPM Graph
 Group 8: Scattergrams
Resources: Provide handouts from the module.

E. ABSTRACTION Presentations and Class Discussion

Each group presents their assigned analytical technique. After each
presentation, assigned reporters facilitate a brief Q&A session to clarify
concepts and encourage further discussion.
Discussion Prompts:
• "How does this technique differ from others?"
• "What are the advantages and disadvantages of using this
technique?"
F APPLICATION Individual
SWOT Analysis for STUDENTS
Student will analyze themselves. They will be going to assess
themselves by finding their strengths, weaknesses opportunities and
threats as a students.
Group
Each group will do the following activity
1. Brainstorming Session: Organize a brainstorming session on a
garden-related issues and document the ideas generated.
2. Create Cause and Effect Diagram: Students create a cause
and effect diagram for a problem they have encountered in the
cultivation and beautification of their respective plots, highlighting
the main causes and effects.
3. SWOT Analysis for a Project: Students conduct a SWOT
analysis for a proposed Garden project, identifying strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

strategy, or the business itself at risk.
