ACA (Additional Compensation Allowance )

PERA (Personnel Economic Relief Allowance)

 is granted to government personnel stationed in the Philippines in order to supplement their


salaries due to the rising cost of living.

 PERA is paid only when basic pay (salary, wage, or base pay) is also paid. PERA at ₱2,000 per
month is paid to personnel provided they render full-time services for 8 hours per working day
(WD), 22 WDs per month, inclusive of leaves of absence with pay. PERA of casual personnel paid
on daily basis = ₱90.91 per day.

CNA (Collective Negotiation Agreement)


 is a contract negotiated between an accredited employees' organization as the negotiating unit
and the employer/management on the terms and conditions of employment and its
improvements that are not fixed by law.

 CNA Incentive shall not be pre-determined since it is subject to compliance with conditions
outlined in Budget Circular No. 2018-5, as well as the availability of the allowable allotments.
But in all cases, the CNA Incentive shall not exceed PhP25,000 per qualified employee.

PEI (Productivity Enhancement Incentive)

 Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI) is the across-the-board bonus equivalent to P5,000 to


be given not earlier than December 15 of every year to all qualified government personnel for
the purpose of improving the government employees' productivity as stipulated under Section 6
of EO No. 201, s. 2016.
SRI (Service Recognition Incentive)

 Qualified for the PhP20,000 SRI are civilian personnel in national government agencies including
those in state universities and colleges (SUCs) and government-owned or controlled
corporations (GOCCs), occupying regular, contractual or casual positions.

PBB (Performance-Based Bonus)

 a top-up bonus in an amount equivalent to a percentage of the employees' monthly basic salary
to be granted to government personnel in accordance with their contribution to the
accomplishment of the department's overall targets and commitments.

 An official or employee who has rendered a minimum of nine (9) months of service during the
fiscal year and with at least a Very Satisfactory rating may be eligible for the full grant of the
PBB.

U/CA (Uniform / Clothing Allowance)

 Newly hired government personnel shall be entitled to the clothing allowance after they have
rendered six consecutive months of service or in the next grant thereof whichever comes later.

 As of 2024, this allowance is set at ₱7,000 per year. This amount is established by the annual
General Appropriations Act (GAA) and is subject to change based on budgetary considerations.
Typically, this benefit is paid annually, though the exact timing may vary depending on the
specific agency's schedule.

MEDICAL ALLOWANCE

MYB (MID YEAR BONUS)

 is equal to an employee's one-month basic pay given to eligible personnel who have worked at
least four months from July 1 of the previous year to May 15 of the current year.

 The mid-year bonus is equivalent to one-month basic pay as of May 15 and shall be given to
entitled personnel who has rendered at least a total or aggregate of four (4) months of service
from July 1 of the immediately preceding year to May 15 of the current year.

YEB (YEAR END BONUS)


 According to Item 6.1 of the DBM Budget Circular (BC) No. 2016-4, the year-end bonus is
equivalent to one month of basic pay, as of Oct. 31, and the cash gift of PHP5,000 will be given
to qualified government personnel not earlier than Nov. 15 of the current year.

PRORATED
