General instructions
• This pattern is worked in continuous round: do not join or turn unless stated otherwise.

• Mark the last stitch of the round with your stitch marker in order to check that you’ve
made the right amount of stitches in the round.

• You’ll see that the increases and decreases of the pattern are shifted every other row. This
is to avoid the small line that shows when you keep on making your increases and de-
creases at the same place.

• If you print this pattern, you can tick the O to help you get your bearings.

Assembling 1 2

- Sew the edges of the eye patches in place

(picture 1), then stuff the snout and pin it in be-
tween both eyes, with the dc facing down (it
will be the mouth of your Don’t Care Bear). The
top of the snout should be just below the rnd19
of the head. Sew in place (picture 2).
- Cut your felt details then glue them or sew
them on (pictures 3-4).
3 4
- Pin the ears into place then sew them on. The
top of the ear should be placed after rnd 4 of
the head and the bottom of the ear should be
placed between rnd 15 and 16 (picture 5) and
proceed the same way with the belly (picture 6).
- Cut the leaf in the green felt, using the pattern
above (or crochet it if you have the pattern -
using the same yarn as the body) Then glue it,
or sew it on. If you made the crocheted leaf, I
would recommend using sewing thread to sew 5 6
it as the yarn we used to make the leaf is way
too thick and would put your leaf out of shape
(pictures 7-8).
- Pin the legs on either sides of the tummy then
sew them in place (picture 9).
- Pinch both sides of the arm together, sew
close weaving your needle through the back
loop of the stitches, to keep the front loops in
order to sew them on the body. Pin the arms
on each side of the body, one round below the 7 8
neck, the thumbs (made with the tr) facing you,

then sew in place (picture 10-12).
