The bar chart provides data on the expenditure that France and the UK allocated to

consumer goods in the year 2010.

As can be seen, cars were the most purchased goods in both countries, followed by
computers and books. The UK allocated significant funds towards cameras,
whereas the French showed a preference for spending on perfume.
In 2010, the UK expenditure for cars, books and cameras were 450,000 pounds,
400,000 pounds, and 350,000 pounds, respectively. These amounts were
significantly higher than those in France, which allocated 400,000 pounds for cars,
300,000 pounds for books, and only 150,000 pounds for cameras.
On the other hand, France had higher consumption of computers and perfume
compared to the UK in 2010. Computer consumption was around 370,000 pounds
in France and 350,000 pounds in the UK. Additionally, French expenditure on
perfume amounted to 200,000 pounds, whereas the UK spent less than 150,000
pounds on this product during the same period.
