Dear Parents,
Hobbies are a great way to explore one’s passion and a constructive way to relieve the stress
of routine academic rigour. Hobby classes in school give students an opportunity to immerse
themselves in activities they enjoy.
With an objective to foster creativity and imagination, Hobby classes will be introduced in
school. Students can opt for Art and Craft / Theatre and Cookery. With three classes per
week, the fee will be Rs.1000/- per month. The classes will be held for two groups of students
namely: classes III to V and Classes VI onwards. The classes will be held from 8.00 a.m.
to 8.45 a.m.
Theatre Classes
Ms Vibha will be conducting the theatre classes. She is Post Graduate in Dramatic Arts and
has 32 years of experience in Theatre. She has conducted theatre workshops with Theatre in
Education (National School of Drama), Sahitya Kala Parishad (Delhi Govt.) Jamia
University, Andhra Education Society and DPS, Noida.
Our Theatre classes are designed to nurture young talent and promote performing arts
Skills/techniques to be taught:
Theatre games, voice modulation, speech therapy, body movement, improvisations, number
games for concentration and acting in theatre and camera acting.
Art/Craft classes
Our Art/Craft classes will be conducted by well qualified faculty with Degrees in Art. All
of them are vastly experienced, highly skilled and active in the field of painting.
Knowledge of Art Materials, Painting techniques such as handling of Brush, Skills to handle
Poster Colors, Water Colors, Acrylic Colors, Charcoal, Canvas, Handmade Sheet etc.,Vivid
Printing techniques.
A Graduate in Hotel Management, Mr Alok will be in-charge of the cookery classes. Having
worked in Taj Palace, Leela Palace, Chennai and Hotrel Lalit, Jaipur, Mr. Alok is proficient
in the art and science of cookery.
Students opting for cookery classes will learn to prepare starters, main courses, desserts
and mocktails.
