The management of KWAME Nkrumah Primary school in it’s quest to provide quality education
and therefore serve it’s community diligently have designed and approved the school program
for term 3 of 2024. All teachers and supporting staff are required are required to follow the
program strictly to ensure a quality service is provided to all stakeholders and in particular the
learner’s.
All members of staff and especially grade 7 teachers are expected to uphold at most
professionalism and put in all their effort as this is an examination term. It is the wish of
management to maintain the 100% pass rate which was achieved last year and also beat our
previous highest pupil score of 814 marks.
Grade 7 teachers are further reminded as emphasised by the Ministry of Education to ensure that
they focus on the six learning subjects which will ensure that our learner’s obtain certificates and
progress to grade 8.
All members of staff are advised to give preference to children with special needs in all school
activities.
Below is a comprehensive program for term 3 of 2024. A summary of the programs is provided
at the end:
1. 26th August to 30th August 2024 - ZERO WEEK (PLANNING WEEK
All teachers and supporting staff are required to report to work on Monday 26th August
2024 for the zero week or planning week. This will be from Monday 26th to Friday 30th
August 2024.
Supporting staff are required to ensure that the school environment is clean, safe and
ready for use before the pupils report on 2nd September 2024. The departmental heads of
the supporting staff are further reminded to ensure they present their termly budgets for
their respective departments on Thursday 29th August 2024.
All teachers are expected to prepare an update their teaching files during this week and
have them submitted to their respective heads of department on 29th August 2024 for
approval. Teachers are also reminded that failure to submit the teaching files on time
attracts a penalty as stipulated in their employment contracts.
All staff members are to report to work at 08:00hrs and knock off at 12:00hrs during this
planning period.
6. 7th October 2024 – Submission of mid-term test scripts for typing and printing
All teachers are advised to ensure they submit their respective mid-term test scripts to the
administration for typing and printing on Monday 7th October 2024. Teachers are also
advised to prepare professional exam standard tests to ensure that our learner’s are
accustomed to exam type questions.
Teachers are further advised to prepare these tests on time to avoid putting a strain on the
administration and also to ensure the school runs smoothly and that the tests are
administered on time.
10. 8th November 2024 – Budgeting and planning meeting for 2025
All members are expected to attend a budgeting and planning meeting on Friday 4th
November 2024 for the year 2025. All members of staff are advised to attend the meeting
so that the school can have an all inclusive budget for next year.
The meeting will commence at 09:00hrs and end at 12:00 hours in the school hall.
11. 11th November 2024 – Submission of end of term test scripts for typing and printing
All teachers are reminded to submit their respective end of term test scripts for typing and
printing on Monday 11th November 2024.
