Introduction

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is a state level examination conducted every year
for First Year Engineering and Technology degree courses. The Commissioner of State CET
Cell designated as Competent Authority for conducting the MHT-CET exam and selection of
candidates for admission to 4 Year Duration Full Time Undergraduate Degree courses in Engi-
neering and Technology. Candidates willing to get admission are required to apply and appear
for the Maharashtra CET exam as per the schedule. The MHT CET exam 2024 will be held for
PCM and PCB.

MHT-CET 2025 Syllabus

The CET Cell Maharashtra releases the MHT CET 2025 syllabus. As per the syllabus, approxi-
mately 20% weightage is given to Std. XI curriculum, while the 80% weightage is to Std. XII cur-
riculum while setting the question paper. Moreover, the questions will be based on the syllabus
of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

MHT CET 2025 Syllabus Candidates will have to study the whole syllabus of Std. XII of 2024-25
of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics subjects.

MHT CET 2025 Exam Pattern

As per the MHT CET exam pattern 2025, the question paper will consist of 3 question papers of
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and each paper will be of 100 marks. There will be no nega-
tive marking, however difficulty level will be at par with the JEE (Main) for Mathematics, Physics,
and Chemistry and the difficulty level for Biology will be at par with NEET. The questions will be
mainly application-based.
