    A Very Good Afternoon to Everyone,

    Respected dignitaries, esteemed guests, distinguished speakers, beloved faculty members,


    participants, and my dear friends,

    I, Chaitanya Shet, Student Coordinator of the Two-Day International Seminar, am deeply


    honoured to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you all , as we gather here for the
    valedictory session of our seminar on ‘Breaking Barriers: Advancing Psychological Well-Being
    Across Borders.’

    To begin with, it is my privilege to welcome the pillar of our institution, Dr. B.A. Kumara
    Hegde, Principal of SDM College, Ujire. Your visionary leadership and constant support have
    been instrumental in making this event a grand success. Welcome, you Sir!

    It is an honor to welcome Dr. Deepa Kothari, Director of Alva’s Centre for Wellness Training
    and Associate Professor in Psychology at Alva’s College, Moodbidri. Welcome you Ma’am!

    I wold like to Welcome, Dr. Ramesh Saliyan, Professor of Economics at the Centre for
    Economic Studies and Planning, JNU, New Delhi. It is an honor to have you with us! Welcome
    you Sir!

    I also extend a special welcome to Prof. Vishwanath P, the visionary Dean of PG Studies at
    SDM College, Ujire, whose guidance has played a significant role in shaping this seminar.
    Welcome you Sir!

    A warm welcome goes to Dr. Vandana Jain, the Convener of this seminar and Head of the
    Department of PG Studies and Research in Psychology SDM college Ujire . Your relentless
    efforts and dedication have been the backbone of this event. Welcome,\ you Ma’am!

    I am delighted to acknowledge Ms. Ashwini Shetty, the Organizing Secretary of this seminar,
    whose meticulous planning ensured the seamless execution of this event. Welcome you ,
    Ma’am!

    A special mention to my co-student coordinator, Ms. Jahnavi M, for your support and
    teamwork throughout this journey. Welcome you!

    I also would like to welcome our key speakers of the event, Dr Carol D Ryff and Dr Sumit Dutta
    and also the moderators of the program. Welcome you all.

    I extend a heartfelt welcome to all our distinguished Heads of Departments, faculty members,
    alumni, participants from various institutions ,students, and members of the media to the
    program.
