Subject: My free time
Hi Truong,
It's nice to hear from you again.
Let me tell you about what I often do with my best friend, Minh in my leisure time. I often play
badminton with my friend on every Sunday morning. We do sports to stay healthy. We play
together in the park. Sometimes we go to the shopping mall on Saturday afternoon. We
sometimes go to see a movie or drink some bubble tea and talk about your daily activities. On
the weekend evening, we chat with each other about our homework.
That's all about what I usually do with my friend. How about you? What do you do in your free
time?
Love,
Minh Truong

TOPIC 2: Talk about what you like or dislike about life in the countryside

I chose to live in the countryside for many reasons. First of all, life in the countryside is more peaceful
than live in the city. This helps people living there feel comfortable and relaxed. Besides, there are so
many sceneries. Second, people in the countryside are very friendly, hospitable and willing to help each
other. Thirdly, there are many cheap things in there than in the city. The food there many options but it
always fresh and delicious. In conclusion, life in the countryside has many good points so I think the life
in the countryside is a residence than in the city.

TOPIC 3: Talk about the cause(s) of your stress and offer solutions.

I often feel stressed because of spending too much time on social media and here are the ways I deal
with my stress. Firstly, I use an app to help me limit my social media use. Secondly, I spend several
hours a week on screen-free hobbies. Joining the sports club and the chess club at school helps me keep
fit, enhance my concentration and especially keep me away from using the smartphone. Lastly, I have a
phone-free dinner with my family every evening. We put the phones so that they cannot distract our
dinner. In short, using scial media is good but we should limit the usage time to share our real-life
moments with our friends and family.
TOPIC 4: Talk about the things you do to helps your family.

As a member in my family, I also do the housework to help my parents. Because I spend much of time
studying at school and extra class, I only do the housework after finishing studying or having dinner. In
the morning, I clean the floor after getting up. Then I go to school until the afternoon. After finishing
school, I help my mom to prepare for the dinner. Sometimes, I collect the dry clothes and bring them to
each room. After dinner, I feed the dog and take out the garbag. In short, I always feel happy when I do
the housework to help my parents
