Applications are invited from the prospective students desiring to have a one year Weekend Masters in Environmental Sciences and Management consisting three trimesters, which is offered by the Department of Environmental Sciences, Jahangirnagar University. This program provides the degree of Masters of Science in Environmental Sciences and Management for those who have completed Bachelor degree and want to obtain extensive knowledge and skills in environmental management and sustainability.
Duration : One Year (3 Semesters) Class Hours
: Friday and Saturday (half day)
Major areas: Industrial Health, Safety and Environmental Management (IHSEM) Industrial Ecology, Waste Management and Waste Water Treatment (IEWWT) Climate Change and Disaster Management (CCDM), Ecology, Biodiversity and Nature Conservation (EBNC). ***Opportunity to get in house LEAD AUDITOR Certificate on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001*** LEAD AUDITOR Certificate on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001*** Entry Requirements: Minimum 4 years Bachelor’s (Honours) Degree or 3 years honours and 1 year Masters degree in any relevant subject/discipline from any accredited institute. No 3rd Division/Class or CGPA below 2.5 (or equivalent) at any level(s) of education. Academic degree or Professional experience relevant to environmental science/ study/engineering/management/policy/compliance will get priority

Admission Test: For this intake, there will be an online VIVA and the selection process will be dependent on following criteria: Academic Qualification Professional Qualification This whole selection process will be done via Zoom. VIVA Procedure will be started from 25th December, 2020. Candidates will be contacted via email for the schedule. After the whole procedure, the results will be provided on 27th December 2020 and it will be published online and email will be sent to the students. Due to Corona Pandemic, this whole communication process will be done via online (Mainly over this mail: ofcwmes@juniv.edu) and phone.

office, at the Department of Environmental Sciences. You can follow any one method.
Online Application Process:
First, visit the website http://www.wmes.iitju.edu.bd/ Click WMES Online Application Fill up the online application form After successfully completing the application form, you will get a WMES PIN No. (A 6 digit number) in your screen. Please keep the PIN No. safely. Now make a payment of Tk. 1000/- as application fee from your/agent's Dutch Bangla Mobile Banking account to WMES-ENV.JU biller code 2311. The process is as follows:
Using your/agent’s ROCKET account, dial *322#
From the menu appeared, select Bill Pay If you want to make payment using your own ROCKET account, then select Self. If you want to make payment using agent’s ROCKET account, then select Other and then Enter Payer Mobile No. Enter 0 (Other) Enter 2311 as Biller ID Enter your WMES PIN No. as Bill Number Enter 1000 as Amount Enter your/agent’s mobile banking PIN Collect Txnid (TRANSACTION ID) from the return SMS
Now, visit the website http://www.wmes.iitju.edu.bd/ again.
Click Admit Card Download.
Log in with your WMES PIN No. and Txnid (Transaction ID). Upload your scanned signature and passport size photograph. After submission, download/print your admit card.
Keep your Admit Card safely and bring it on the day of admission test.
