institute of sports (NIS), universities, college’s, schools, public-and private sectors. Jobs are also
provided by various departments like Indian Railways, various Banks, Indian Airlines, and State Police
Department on the basis of Sports quota.
Career opportunities:
These days' sports provide career opportunities like coaching, physical education
teachers, professional sportsperson, sports management, commentators and officials.
1. Coach:
Coaches help the children and adults to realize their potential in a sporting discipline
through the provision of instruction, advice and encouragement. They are responsible for
planning, organizing and delivering an appropriate range of sports activities.
2. Minimum educational qualification:
Diploma in coaching from SAI, NSNIS or from any other recognized Indian/foreign
University. Graduation from any recognized University required appearing for diploma.
