MIT Sloan - MBA
Dear Committee Members,

I am excited to submit my application for the Sloan MBA program, Class of 2026. I believe
my solid professional experience including consistent track record of high performance
coupled with desire to immerse myself in a community of learning, collaboration and
professional development makes me a great fit for the program.

I started my career as a Project Engineer at ISGEC Heavy Engineering Limited, where I

created and implemented “Risk and Opportunity Register” which helped in improving timely
delivery from 80% to 90% and reduced CoPQ by 4% for that financial year. Currently, I am
working as Assistant Manager at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, an automobile manufacturer.
Here, I developed long term capacity planning of powertrain production plants based on sales
projections (~33 Lakhs/annum) for the next five financial years. Besides that, I also have
demonstrated leadership experience as I led a team of three for a digital technology based
project of creating 3D models of production facilities and analyzing them in virtual reality.
All these projects have helped me to learn how to leverage data to drive business strategy and
collaborate with different people. I believe that the breadth of my experiences will allow me
to succeed at Sloan while also bringing a unique perspective to the school.

Post MBA, I envision myself to become a product manager at a tech company like Google.
MIT S customized coursework along with Action learning Labs, Sloan intensive periods will
provide the necessary skills needed to transition towards product management. Additionally,
with two research papers already published in green operations, I aspire to study and research
more on sustainability by engaging myself in a sustainability certificate course. After getting
a chance to learn from Professor David Simchi while pursuing a certification course on “Data
driven Supply chain Transformation”, I knew Sloan would be a place for me to thrive and
look forward to becoming a part of this community.

Sincerely,

Priyanshi Gupta
