REAL PULLING POWER The best measure of usable power for towing or acceleration is torque. No other car in the class can equal Korandos 360 Newton metres of torque. TOWING CAPACITY Combine engine power with structural integrity and you have towing capacity. Korando can tow up to 2 tonnes. 4 WHEEL DRIVE Korando EX features Torque On Demand 4x4. This directs drive to the wheels with most grip, so its always using engine power efficiently.

In towing, numbers tell the true story. The technically minded will appreciate Korandos 360Nm of torque, 2 tonnes of towing capacity and 80kg towbar limit. Others will be happy to know its the most powerful towing car in its class.

NEW 2.0 LITRE DIESEL Korandos new diesel engine is clean and efficient but also very powerful.

AUTO MODE In auto mode and in normal conditions, Korando remains in two wheel drive to optimise fuel efficiency. When sensors detect a potential loss of grip, the system switches to four wheel drive mode.

HILL START ASSIST A great ally when towing, this system acts like an automatic handbrake to prevent rolling backwards during a hill start. ABS WITH ELECTRONIC BRAKEFORCE DISTRIBUTION (EBD) ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAMME (ESP) WITH ACTIVE ROLLOVER PROTECTION (ARP) All Korando models benefit from these systems, which employ a variety of sensors to detect imminent loss of control or rollover, and uses electronic control of the vehicle systems to maintain stability.

Korando EX 4x4 talks to itself, thinks and acts many times a second. A network of sensors maintains a stream of reports to the four wheel drive systems central processor, which makes lightning decisions about power and braking. The result: youre always serenely in control.

AdvANCEd 4x4

TORQUE ON DEMAND 4X4 SYSTEM Korando EX features an advanced 4x4 system that operates in two modes, depending on conditions and settings.

LOCK MODE For very loose or slippery surfaces, the 4x4 system can be locked to allocate drive equally between front and rear wheels. This provides supreme grip and control for low-speed manoeuvres.
