Traits.
Leader: +15 points. Only 1 in your force. Can let other models use its morale stat for tests
but only if he passes his morale first.
Hero: +10 points. +1 to his Morale Stat (Max 5). Like the leader he can let other models use
his Morale stat for tests.
Mighty: +5 points. Enemy models in Melee with this model receive -1 to their armor rating
when hit.
Tough (X). X = 1+ as chosen by player. X equals the number of wounds this model can take
before being killed. The basic default for all models in Ravenfeast is 1 wound. For each
additional wound (X) it will cost 50% of the base cost of the model in question. If the base
cost is 30 points, the additional wound costs is 15 points. For Tough (2) the cost of 2 extra
wounds would be 30 points.
War Dog Handler: +2 points. There can be only one but must be one if a War Dog is
taken.
New Rules.
Reload: Crossbows and Hand guns are marked when fired. They must be reloaded to fire
again. Models must use their Movement to reload instead of moving.
Pavise: A Pavise is a large self standing shield that Crossbowmen use for protection. Draw a
180 degree line along the front of the Pavise. Any ranged fire that originates above this line at
a target model that is even partially obscured by the Pavise receives 'cover' (+4 chance of
deflection). If the model is in base to base contact behind the Pavise it also receives +2 to it's
armor stat against ranged attacks.
*Traits & rules in Italics are my own creations based on traits already in the base rules.
These are based on my personal model collection. There are other types during this period
such as the Irish and others, that I will not list but can be created for your use using the basic
stats & traits listed above.
A. Missile Armed Models.
These models primary weapons are secondary weapons would be a short sword or dagger for
melee.
Throwing Spears: In this period these would be more common than Javelin armed light
infantry. 1 to 2 throwing spears may be added as a secondary weapon to any basic infantry
armed only with one handed weapons and shields. Pay the cost in points per spear. A
maximum of 2 can be carried. When used, remove the spear from play. Throwing spears
have a strength of 2 at 8 inches and costs +2 points each.
