Respectfully in regard to the above I am obliged to the Administration that

considering my problems harming me leg I have been kept at TATA in past and hope the
same this time also and beg to furnish the following facts with a request with folded hands to
kindly consider Sir.

That Sir, through your blessing I have been considered suitable for the promotion as
C.T.I. in scale Rs. 9300-34,800/- Grade Pay – Rs. 4600/-

That Sir, if I am posted at TATA as C.T.I. it will be more and more beneficial to me
in all respects as I am having only one leg and another I lost while on duty Sir.

That Sir, my all children are reading at Jamshedpur and due to my posting other than
TATA I will have to face lot of troubles which will badly effect my pecuniary condition Sir.

Hence I request your generous heart to be gracious enough to kindly consider my

problems very – very sympathetically and be kind enough to post me at TATA as C.T.I. and
oblige Sir.

Dear Sir,

Find enclosed herewith an application from Sri Dilip Kumar, Dy.C.T.I/TATA

addressed to Sr.DPO/CKP which is self explanatory.

It is a matter of great regret thought it is I.O.D. case of 27.05.06 in which applicant

has lost his left leg from above knee. Necessary medical certificate has been submitted by
CMS/CKP to Sr.DPO/CKP and assessment of his LOEC (loss of Earning capacity) has been
made 65% vide CMS/CKP’s Letter No.M/37/LOEC/275 dated 15.03.07 to Sr.DPO/CKP.

It is most wonderful Sr.DPO/CKP’s letter No.E/WF/WCA/DK/07 dated 22.03.07

addressed to CTI/TATA not yet reached to his office which must might have sent by special
Messenger seeing the importance of the case resulting nothing is processed and party is
suffering from non-payment of Workman Compensation .

So undersigned request for your personal intervention in this case to finalise the case
and to arrange payment Workman Compensation maximum permissible for L.O.E.C. in
I.O.D.case .

I the undersigned, a physically handicapped (Lost my limbs in discharge of duty) beg

to submit the following for your kind consideration please.

That sir, vide the above Office Order as quoted under reference I have been promoted
and posted as CTI/CKP (Srl.No.7) for which I have to face a lot of hardship and physical
problem being a physically handicapped person on my left limb has been imputed and I am
totally dependent to my family members for my permanent disability due to loss of limb of
left leg as met an Railway Accident in harness . Besides that all of my children are studying
at Tatanagar in their higher classes which will be effected on my above transfer.

As such considering the above fact and circumstances I hope and pray before you
that you will be kind enough and compassionate to me for ordering my posting at Tatanagar
instead of CKIP so that I can work peacefully and without any physical constraint to me as
well as studies of my grownup children are not discontinued. For this act of kindness myself
and my family shall remain grateful to you.

Most respectfully I beg to submit if you that I have been transferred from Tatanagar
to Chakradharpur on transfer as CTI/CKP vide O.O. quoted under reference on
Administrative ground.

That Sir, on carry out the above promotion I am requesting you to issue order in my
favour for allowing me to retain the Railway Quarter No. 27/2, Traffic Colony, Tatanagar
due to the following reasons :-

1) That Sir, being a handicapped person and suffering from surgical amputation
of my left leg I have to under go regular medical check-up and treatment at
Tatanagar.

2) That Sir, my children are studying in local school and colleges at Tatanagar
and my transfer will effect their studies as mid session.

Therefore, under the above circumstances I shall request you to allow me to retain my
Railway Quarter for six months and oblige me.
