    THE ROLE

    We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will
    construct, maintain, and optimize the data architecture and pipelines that support our data
    analytics and business intelligence efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of data
    modeling, ETL processes, and warehousing solutions. Join our growing engineering team and
    make a significant impact by developing in-house products and supporting startups with their
    challenges.

    AS A DATA ENGINEER, YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

    ● Proficiency in SQL: Advanced knowledge of SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL


    Server), with experience in complex queries and reporting.
    ● Experience with Large Datasets: Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and
    optimize them for reporting.
    ● Data Modeling Expertise: Strong understanding of relational database design,
    normalization, and schema creation.
    ● Performance Optimization: Hands-on experience with query tuning, indexing,
    partitioning, and caching techniques.
    ● ETL Knowledge: Experience building ETL processes to support data ingestion and
    transformation.
    ● Build and optimize data models to improve data retrieval time and efficiency.
    ● Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and ensure the reliability of data
    flows.
    ● Implement data governance and security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
    ● Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
    ● Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the data
    engineering processes.
    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a


    related field.
    ● Proven experience in data engineering or a related field ( 4 - 6 years of experience)
    ● Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Nodejs, Scala, or Java.
    ● Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Apache
    Cassandra).
    ● Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or
    Snowflake.
    ● Tools & Technologies: Postgresql, Redshift, AWS DMS
    ● Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.
    ● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
