ID CODE
DSR 2018 is now inforce in LSGD with effect from 01-11-2021 .in these circumstance 1
presenting the New Version of Valuation Utility ver.11 incorporating the new cost index with DSR
2018 and the depreciation constant so that the valuation can be prepared based on the age of 2
building. Now we LSGD Engineers have a heavy responsibility to give valuation for the damaged 3
houses and wells in the natural calamity happened recently all over Kerala. Based on this situation 4
releasing the new version of Excel tool VALUATION UTILITY based on the DSR 2018 which is 5
designed for preparing the estimate and valuation for the house maintenance ,Cattle shed 6
Construction ,Study Room Construction for SC/ST Students and construction of well under various 7
beneficiary scheme as well as damaged assets in Natural calamity . While opening the file You have
eight Worksheets namely Home, Basic data ,House,cattle shed, Well ,Study Room Toilet and 8
Valuation . In Home sheet You will get a clear idea about this programme .Click on Basic data sheet. 9
Enter the relevant details in the respective columns which are self explanatory. while entering the 10
measurements you can see the valuation amount at the same time on the Basic Data window.. Click 11
on next relevant sheet and take the print. 12

When You enter the age of Building corresponding value of depreciation constant is 17
displayed and the valuation is calculated based on this constant. Take care to enter only numerical 18
values in the cells otherwise you will get an error message. Also enter the ID code of your place in 19
Basic data sheet for cost Index . Valuation of the assets can be prepared at any place in Kerala using 20
this tool.
Maximum care has been taken for the accuracy of statements and calculations. Any 21
how the user should satisfy himself for the accuracy .If any discrepancy is noticed mail immediately 22
