San Andres, Balud, Masbate, a coastal baranggay with approximately 50,000
residents primarily engaged in agriculture and fishing.
SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS
Problem Description
Inadequate waste management.
Problem Statement
San Andres faces significant environmental and health risks due to improper waste
disposal, lacking infrastructure and inadequate education.
AFFECTED GROUPS
Residents, particularly children and the elderly.
Farmers and Fishermen

MAIN CAUSES
1. Insufficient waste collection facilities.
2. Limited public awareness and education.
3. Inadequate waste segregation practices.
4. Lack of enforcement of waste regulations.
5. Limited economic resources.
POTENTIAL SOLUTION
1. Establishing waste collection and recycling facilities.
2. Implementing waste segregation and education programs.
3. Strengthening waste management policies and enforcement.
