5. A chord AB of circle of radius 14 cm makes an angle of 60° at the centre. Find the area of the minor segment of [3]

6. A square OABC is inscribed in a quadrant OPBQ of a circle. If OA = 20 cm, find the area of the shaded region. [3]

10. The central angles of two sectors of circles of radii 7 cm and 21 cm are respectively 120° and 40°. Find the areas [3]
of the two sectors as well as the length of the corresponding arcs. What do you observe?
11. A chord of a circle of radius 12 cm subtends an angle of 120o at the center. Find the area of the corresponding [3]

segment of the circle. (Using π = 3.14 and √3 = 1.73)
12. A brooch is made with silver wire in the form of a circle with diameter 35 mm. The wire is also used in making [3]
5 diameters which divide the circle into 10 equal sectors as shown in figure. Find:
i. the total length of the silver wire required.
ii. the area of each sector of the brooch.

13. In a circle of radius 21 cm, an arc subtends an angle of 60° at the centre. [3]
i. Find the length of the arc,
ii. the area of the sector,
iii. the area of the minor segment, and

iv. the area of the major segment. [Given, √3 = 1.72.]
