Q36 Anita’s mother starts a new shoe shop. To display the shoes, she puts 3
pairs of shoes in 1st row, 5 pairs in 2nd row, 7 pairs in 3rd row and so on
On the basis of above information, answer the following questions.
(i)How many pairs of shoes are there in the 5th row? 1
(ii) Which row contains 41 pair of shoes in the shop? 1
(iii) If she put a total of 120 pairs of shoes , then find the number of
rows required 2
OR
(iii) What is the difference of pairs of shoes in17th and 10th row?
Q37 Ramesh places a mirror on level ground to determine the height of a
pole (with traffic light fired on it). He stands at a certain distance so
that he can see the top of the pole reflected from the mirror. Ramesh’s
eye level is 1.5 m above the ground. The distance of Ramesh and the
pole from the mirror are 1.8 m and 6 m respectively
