    Dear Brothers,

    Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

    I hope this message finds you in the best of health and Iman. Alhamdulillah, we have
    entered into the 22nd term of the organisation. On this occasion, I extend my prayers
    and heartfelt congratulations to all the newly elected leaders. May Allah (SWT) grant
    us wisdom, strength, and steadfastness to fulfil our responsibilities with excellence
    and achieve our objectives, Ameen.

    Brothers, the importance of Salah (Namaaz) in Islam is beyond question. However,


    when we reflect on the effectiveness of our Salah, certain concerns arise regarding its
    practice and impact, particularly with regard to ‘Khushu’ and ‘Khudu’ (‫)خش ع وخض ع‬.
    Taking these concerns into consideration, SIO Markaz has planned to initiate a
    focused campaign from January 11 to January 31, 2025, based on the profound
    message of the Holy Qur'an:
    َ ْ َ َ ََْ َ ‫ﱠ ﱠ‬
    ۗ ‫ٱلصل ٰوة تنه ٰى عن ٱلفحشا ِء َوٱل ُمنكر‬ ‫ِإن‬

    (Indeed, prayer prevents indecency and evil deeds - Al-Ankabut 29:45)

    Objectives of the Campaign

    1. To encourage the practice of offering Salah with its full beauty, spirit, and essence.
    2. To strive towards making our Salah truly impactful, shaping our character and
    personality as desired by Allah (SWT).

    Tasks to Undertake

    At the Collective Level

     Tazkiya Night: Tazkiya Night should be conducted at Zonal and local levels. The
    ‫ﱠ‬ ‫ﱠ َ ﱠ‬ ُ َ ٌ َ ۡ ۡ َ ۢۡ َ َ َ
    theme of the Tazkiya Night could be: ‫الصلو َو ات َ ُعوا الش َہ ٰو ِت‬ ‫ف اضاعوا‬ ‫فخلف ِمن ع ِد ِ م خل‬
    َ َ ۡ َ َ َ ۡ َ َ
    ‫( فسوف لقون غ ا‬But there came after them successors who neglected prayer and
    pursued desires; so they are going to meet evil – Maryam 19:59)
     Perform Congregational Fajr Prayer in Masjid: All Members should wake up each
    other and gather at the local masjid for Fajr Prayer during the campaign period.
    At the Individual Level

     Understand and Momorize the Azkaar of Salah along with their meanings, reflecting
    deeply on their significance.
     Maintain a Daily Prayer Chart: Track both the quantity and quality of your Salah to
    encourage self-reflection and accountability.
     Special attention should be given to ensuring the timely performance of Salah in
    campuses and workplaces.
     Minimization of screen time

    Other Suggested Activities

    Nizam-ul-Usra, Khutba-e-Jumua, Weekly or Monthly Meets on the theme,etc.

    May Allah (SWT) accept our efforts, guide us in this noble endeavour, and make us
    among those who establish prayer in its true essence, Ameen.
