Writer Test Instructions
1. You didn’t use our formatting tools. If you’re not able to figure out the basics of
our toolbar, you can’t work for us.
2. You wrote in HTML.
3. You didn’t write on the topic you were given.
4. You didn’t write in English.
5. You pasted work in.
6. You can’t write clear, easy-to-read, grammatical English. Work with misspellings
and grammar errors will be rejected. You must show that you can proofread.
7. You’re writing as if on social media. You must be able to write flowing, connected
paragraphs, arranged under headings, using sophisticated grammar.
8. You used AI or your work sounds like AI.
9. You don’t include your research. You must include exact URL research links,
and what you say must be verifiable at those link/s. “My own brain” “Google
searches” or non-specific addresses like tripadvisor.com are not acceptable
research.
10.You can’t follow standard American capitalization rules in your work, your bio,
or in giving name.
11.You can’t write in natural, North American English. 99% of our clients are from
North America, so if you’re unaware of major differences between UK and US
English, particularly in reference to cars, or if you are unable to access US-based
websites for your research (required), we can’t use you.
Below are your instructions. They are simple: we’re only able to work with writers
who are able to understand and follow instructions. Not following instructions is #1
reason writers are rejected.
1. Write a 250- to 300-word article discussing the title and using the keyword you are
given. Only write within the “Working Version” tab.
2. Use headings (h2) and subheadings (h3) to organize and break up content. There
must be at least one main (H2) heading and at least one subheading (H3). Bold
text is not a heading. Do not use HTML: use the tools you are given in the toolbar.
Headings are short – 3-5 words max. Full sentences are not headings unless they
are a question.
3. Be sure to include an introduction and conclusion.

We have a steady stream of work and pay out every Friday for US writers (who are
required to use Stripe) and every second Friday for non-US writers using PayPal.
American-based writers cannot be paid via PayPal.
We only have work for writers who can sound like their North American clients, with
clear, natural English that is neither plagiarized nor AI written. Writers have to prove
their reliability in research and ability to follow instructions to get access to any work
beyond our lowest tiers. Unfortunately, we cannot teach applicants how to write or how
to sound like a client.
Why?
Because our clients object to using it. If we send them AI-written work, they will go elsewhere,
and then neither you nor any other writers will have any work.
Additionally, we have a paste block on our writing pages. When writers go around this and paste
in material, it creates coding in our system that we can see.
We realize this is frustrating, but it is the reality of the world Big Tech has created for all
of us. We can now only work with writers who can generate clear, natural North
American English at a level better than what AI does.
