(1) Review

(2) Motivation
To engage students’ interest, present a real-world scenario where they might
need to divide decimals, such as a shopping experience. Show them a price
tag of an item that costs $19.50 and ask them how much each person would
pay if 3 friends decided to share the cost. This scenario will help them see
the relevance of the lesson.

Materials Needed:
Instructions:
1. Form Teams: Divide the class into small groups of 4-5 students.
2. Set Up Stations: Create several stations around the classroom, each
with a flashcard containing a decimal division problem (e.g., 12.75 ÷ 3,
9.60 ÷ 4).
3. Relay Race: Explain that each team will send one member at a time
to solve the problem at their station and write the answer on the
whiteboard.
