    Learning English is a path that will open many doors for you, you can find numerous
    useful uses for the lenguage, such as being able to communicate with people from
    different countries, gaining access to a wealth of educational and entertainment
    content, including books, music, series, movies, and culture in general, it provides you
    with the means to stay updated on scientific and technological advancements and is
    also a powerful tool for expanding your job opportunities. Having said that, I would like
    to explain one example of how much can English help you to expand your vision. I am
    currently 19 years old, I am studying English at Icpna since 8 months ago, and I
    genuinly think about finishing the lenguage to work abroad or teach the lenguage, this
    idea have never been on my goals before but as someone said, "Life has a funny way
    of turning things around"

    When I was in high school, I was an average student with average knowledge of English
    even though I have been in a public school, I used to think that my first goal woud be
    finish my desired career, and I thought that all the potential I could have would be
    working here, in Perú. At that time, I had to choose what career i was going to study
    although I think it was a early time to choose but i had to. I always used to go to the
    hospital because I had a lung problem, so I became familiar with the hospital
    environment, I found it pleasant to see how the doctors worked, in a private and
    organized environment. Those experiences were relevant to me to choose a career,
    that's why I ended up choosing medicine.

    When I looked for information about med universities, unfortunally, I found them too
    expensive for my budget, so I realized that if i wanted to study med career i had to
    prepare myseld for a public university, I studied at an academy for a year to apply to
    university and along the way I realized that i actually wanted to study psychology,
    because without noticing it, I had been interested in knowing how our mind works, the
    reason for our actions, what things we are capable of doing and not doing. However,
    during that year of knowledge, under the experiences told by teachers and classmates,
    I was able to appreciate the value of learning English and I asked myself if I could really
    have something more than what I had already resigned myself to.

    Then, I started studying the degree recently, and on my mother's recommendation,


    she suggested that i could learn the lenguage, it seemed like a good idea to also start
    studying English, So I took a placement test and ranked intermediate 8. I was surprised
    because I have never studied the language before, Since I started, I have been able to
    talk to people from other countries, and I could better understand the songs I used to
    listen to and after a few months I realized that the lenguage could really help me to
    expand my goals, because up to now I like the idea talking to people from different
    countries and also I would like to do a master's degree abroad or working there. Since
    then, I've been studying every month at Icpna and now I'm starting to love the
    lenguage.

    I have learned that you can have more opportunities than you imagine. It is truly
    amazed for me to have reached a goal that wasn't in my plans, because If I hadn't
    ranked intermediate 8, I woudn't took seriously the goal of learning english, or i would
    have postponed it for a indefinite time, but i think that I'm closer to reach the goal. For
    this reason, I started to make a schedule to organized my time to reach my goal as
    soon as posible, I feel committed and also i really want to learn the lenguage because i
    would like to be fulfilled person and although sometimes it can be complicated, I'm not
    going to give up, "Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to
    succeed is always to try just one more time."
