Customer requirements were mapped and quality plans were updated accordingly for each product as a
result quality jerks were minimized and achieved a higher customer satisfaction level.
Handled and developed a team of 78 engineers and quality inspectors/ field inspectors.
Received an Award for excellence from MD & ED for a reduction in complaint lead time.
Initiated & finalized raw material specifications, including test methods & acceptance criteria and agreed
with all suppliers for the desired quality level. All specs have been incorporated in the PO copy in ERP.
As a result, Raw material lot rejection has reduced from 57% to <2% in Six months
Develop & implemented Operator training, certification & recertification for improving R&R of
inspectors & machine setter.100% achievement.
Reduced Customer complaints redressal (from complaint registered by the Marketing team to claim
settlement with the customer) time from 135 days average in 2014 to 14 days in 2016.
Chronic problems of size variation, Diagonality and short quantity in packing have been eliminated from
the market successfully using Quality Circle and Quality tools.
In-house calibration system developed and implemented to ensure the capabilities of measuring
