Acknowledgement

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the following individuals


and organizations for their invaluable support and assistance in the
completion of this research project.

First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest appreciation to


my supervisor, Mrs. Nina Manrique, for her guidance, support, and
encouragement throughout the entire work immersion.

I would also like to thank to my members of my work immersion, for


helping me to boost my confidence in socializing to people where it can
helped me to communicate to the staffs and guests in establishment.

In addition, I would like to acknowledge the support and


encouragement of my family and friends, who have provided me with
emotional and moral support throughout this challenging journey.
Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to the ADIS RESORT HOTEL
AND RESTO BAR CORP. for providing the sources and facilities
necessary to carry out this research.

Chapter l
Introduction

DepEd order No. 40, s.2025, the students of Grade 12 Bread and
Pastry Production (BPP) of Marinduque National High School were
directed to have their work immersion in the Adis Resort Hotel and
Resto bar corp.
The work immersion will last for 10 days including the orientation and
convocation days. This subject will provide learners with opportunities
to become familiar to the work place; for employment simulation.

Learners are immersed in actual work environments such as


house-keeping, convenient store, kitchen, and dining area in which
their prior training is relevant. Work immersion is a key feature of the
SHS Curriculum.

In my part I was assigned at the convenient store for my first day of


work immersion, everyday we’re rotating our area to be assigned.
For almost 10 days that I’ve spent during my work immersion at
every area or workplace I’ve assigned, I have lots of experienced that I
got from it which can range from 80 hours will surely enable me as a
student as I familiarize myself with the task and workplace.

I am thankful to the rest of the staff of Adis RESORT AND RESTAURANT


for accommodating us during our work immersion. Surely, what
experienced that I have learned will be applied for the success of my
future.

Objectives of the Work Immersion


The goal of the work immersion is to

Develop good work habits, attitudes, and an appreciation for and


respect for one's work
Gaining experiences
Applying skills

Orientation Period
Work immersion orientation period for a Senior High School (SHS)
in MNHS includes discussions about the program, expectations, and
rules. The orientation also helps students prepare for the work
immersion experience.
Discussed about the rules and regulations, proper clothes and
workplace we’re have assigned.
