Personal Inspiration to Study Diploma of Health Science and Bachelor of Biomedical

Science
When I was young, I became interested in being a doctor. There is a spark that started from watching this
career on the television, and my cousins, who are working in the hospital as a doctor and a nurse, further
motivated me to pursue this field. This early exposure inspired my dream, and as I grew older, my goal
became clearer. I love helping people and making them feel happy without any hesitation, whether by
addressing health treatment, mental consultant, offering advice, or simply supporting them in any way I
can.
One of the most important things I realized is my passion for this profession. I am drawn to the various
aspects of this career, including the long-term opportunities in research, management, education, and
specialized laboratory experiments. It also offers a deep understanding of human health, the human body,
disease prevention, and the treatment of a wide range of illnesses. The Frequency being as a volunteer and
participating in various organizations, which strengthens my desire to help those who may not have
access to adequate healthcare. I am someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, making them smile,
and contributing to a safe, healthy community. I also aim to be a positive role model in society.
While studying, I developed a strong interest in Biology. Although it was a challenging subject, I
continued learning because I wanted to prove to myself that I could succeed, even when it was difficult. I
am also interested in English and Math. To improve my English, I regularly learn new vocabulary and
watch educational content, knowing that strong language skills will benefit my education,
communication, and daily life. I am a detail-oriented person who always double-checks my work,
whether it’s studying for exams or practicing my skills. Thus, I’m strongly believe in myself that the
decision to study health science and biomedical is more than my passionate way it is an ideal that I was
born to do it and to be a person where thousands of people, my family, my people can rely on me as a
doctor when they are facing any unsolvable clues in health care for a better quality of life living.

Australia is globally recognized for its high-quality education and research opportunities, especially in
health sciences. The comprehensive curriculum at Griffith University will provide me with both the
theoretical knowledge and practical experience necessary to succeed in my future medical science career.
I am particularly drawn to Australia’s innovative approach to healthcare education, as well as its

am eager to gain this quality of study experiences in Australia, to be specific;

- Australia offers a world-class education system that aligns perfectly with my goals. The state-of-
the-art equipment, excellent professors, and cutting-edge technology available at Australian
institutions will enable me to develop the skills I need to succeed. Beyond academics, Australia
provides an attractive and supportive environment for students. For example, places like the
beautiful beaches of Gold Coast, Queensland, offer a peaceful escape where students can relax
during their free time. As someone who loves the sea, I am excited to explore this natural beauty.
- Additionally, Australia’s diverse culinary scene offers students the opportunity to explore
international cultures through food, enriching their global experience. The country also has
convenient transportation, including options like trams, which make it easy for students to travel
to school and other destinations. Furthermore, Australia is known for its clean, safe environment
with low crime rates, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes it an ideal place for students to
live and study.
- In particular, I have chosen Gold Coast, Queensland because of its unique geography where it
combines the city life, nature, and the recognized education institution like Griffith University as
well as it qualifies by the United National Sustainability Goals. These keys have persuaded me
with no doubt to enroll myself in this perfect destination land.
- Overall, everything that Australia has to offer—its quality education, beautiful environment,
cultural diversity, and safe surroundings—aligns perfectly with my aspirations to develop my
skills and succeed in my studies. I believe that studying in Australia will provide me with an
excellent foundation and be extremely educated in health science for achieving my dream career.

What make you choose Griffith University

The reason why I chose to study the Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Griffith University, more than my
personal background, is that I have always dedicated myself to health-related initiatives, such as
participating in a Red Cross workshop focused on depression and nutrition. I understand the importance
of combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Griffith’s emphasis on research and hands-
on learning—through access to cutting-edge facilities and its own hospital—will equip me with the skills
I need to address real-world medical challenges. Furthermore, Griffith has offered a comprehensive
program that aligns perfectly with my aspirations of becoming a healthcare professional. Griffith’s proud
history in biomedical sciences, introduced as a specialist pre-medical degree, demonstrates its leadership
in this field and makes it an ideal choice for me.
In addition, the Bachelor of Biomedical Science is also an excellent pathway to Griffith’s Doctor of
Medicine program, a crucial step toward achieving my long-term goal of becoming a physician. With a
passion for serving communities and contributing to public health, I believe this program will provide the
academic foundation and practical skills necessary for my success.
Additionally, Griffith’s commitment to supporting international students through scholarships and its
welcoming environment resonates with me. As someone who has represented Laos in international
forums, including a UNODC workshop, I value Griffith’s global perspective and its emphasis on creating
future leaders in healthcare. Besides that, Griffith’s support for international students, including
scholarships and its welcoming environment, makes it the ideal place for me to grow academically and
personally.
Together with my certain research beyond my study program to make sure that this program can cover
my area of interests and expanded my knowledge in the healthcare industry from my year 1 Diploma in
health Science until year 2 & year 3 in Bachelor of Biomedical Science, with these outlines below;
My Program Structure

understand deeper in the health language, and strengthen the subjects that I learned from high school like
Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English and the fundamental of health more intensive that I must know

Together with one elective subject that I am most interested in is Infectious Disease, to consider
infectious diseases caused by examples of bacteria, viruses and parasites, to understand the interactions,
prevention and treatment strategies. This subject is another reason why I chose to study in Australia,
Griffith University instead of my home country, because I can learn from this subject to expand my
knowledge and utilize it in my home country that has not yet placed this subject in our curriculum.
Moreover, to study this subject, it reminds me of the past 5 years ago in our world. also Laos is facing the
pandemic by covid-19. Because of this, I want to contribute myself in these national issues as a health
guard for my country to provide a national and international perspective on infectious disease and the
future prevention that aligns with my future goals in Laos after the completion of this degree in Australia.
