Furthermore, along with my academic result I have some experiences that allow me to enroll in the
numerous areas to explore soft skills and enhancing my prospector in social areas, for instance;
- In early 2024, I represented Laos at a UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime)
workshop in Bangkok, Thailand, where we addressed issues related to drug use and crime. I was
the youngest participant there.
- I participated in the Japan-Laos Language and Culture Exchange through JENESY 2022,
supported by the Government of Japan.

emphasize, recently in first semester in the Academic Year 2023-2024, I earned several
certificates of excellence from my school, including recognition for passing monthly exams and a
certificate in English, demonstrating my hard work, dedication, and improvement. And one of the
impacts I created is that I led a school charity by founding an organization with my group to raise
funds and collect school supplies for donation to a rural school in my hometown.
- Also, I received a certificate from a Red Cross Organization workshop focused on understanding
depression and nutrition, aimed at helping younger generations manage these challenges.
- Moreover, I participated in various competitions, including the ASEAN Quiz, K-pop dance, and
Lao cultural dance. I was also the president of my school’s dance club and served as the academic
vice president in my field.
- Australia offers a world-class education system that aligns perfectly with my goals. The state-of-
the-art equipment, excellent professors, and cutting-edge technology available at Australian
institutions will enable me to develop the skills I need to succeed. Beyond academics, Australia
provides an attractive and supportive environment for students. For example, places like the
beautiful beaches of Gold Coast, Queensland, offer a peaceful escape where students can relax
during their free time. As someone who loves the sea, I am excited to explore this natural beauty.
- Additionally, Australia’s diverse culinary scene offers students the opportunity to explore
international cultures through food, enriching their global experience. The country also has
convenient transportation, including options like trams, which make it easy for students to travel
to school and other destinations. Furthermore, Australia is known for its clean, safe environment
with low crime rates, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes it an ideal place for students to
live and study.
- In particular, I have chosen Gold Coast, Queensland because of its unique geography where it
combines the city life, nature, and the recognized education institution like Griffith University as
well as it qualifies by the United National Sustainability Goals. These keys have persuaded me
with no doubt to enroll myself in this perfect destination land.
- Overall, everything that Australia has to offer—its quality education, beautiful environment,
cultural diversity, and safe surroundings—aligns perfectly with my aspirations to develop my
skills and succeed in my studies. I believe that studying in Australia will provide me with an
excellent foundation and be extremely educated in health science for achieving my dream career.

In addition to learning about the methods for researching, diagnosing and treating disease, you'll learn
how humans work at every level, from our cells to the whole of our bodies. If you intend to apply for
postgraduate study in the Doctor of Medicine, it will provide me with excellent foundational knowledge
to support my application in the future, as well as a solid foundation for a career in biomedical research.

Together with one elective subject that I am most interested in is Infectious Disease, to consider
infectious diseases caused by examples of bacteria, viruses and parasites, to understand the interactions,
prevention and treatment strategies. This subject is another reason why I chose to study in Australia,
Griffith University instead of my home country, because I can learn from this subject to expand my
knowledge and utilize it in my home country that has not yet placed this subject in our curriculum.
Moreover, to study this subject, it reminds me of the past 5 years ago in our world. also Laos is facing the
pandemic by covid-19. Because of this, I want to contribute myself in these national issues as a health
guard for my country to provide a national and international perspective on infectious disease and the
future prevention that aligns with my future goals in Laos after the completion of this degree in Australia.
