Subject: Request for approval of SIEP Robotics Internship Program and budget allocation for
Program maintenance

Title: Robotics and Software Internship Program Introduction:
The Robotics and Software Internship Program is aimed at providing students with practical skills and
knowledge in the field of robotics and software development. The program will be conducted over six
weeks, focusing on hands-on experience and project-based learning.

Project Titles:

• Voice Control Home Automation System on Arduino


• Flight Stabilizer for UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) Using Arduino
• Hand Gesture Control Robotic Arm

Program Overview:

Week 1:
• Literature Overview Introduction to relevant literature and research in the field of robotics and software
development.
• Understanding the basics of Arduino programming and its applications.
Week 2-3:
• Hardware Project Work Participants will work on hardware projects related to robotics and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Arduino-based projects.
Guidance and assistance from mentors.
Week 4-5:
• Project Implementation Participants will implement the knowledge gained in the first three weeks to
develop functional projects. • Practical sessions on building Voice Control Home Automation Systems,
Flight Stabilizers for UAVs, and Hand Gesture Control Robotic Arms.
Week 6:
• Evaluation and Presentation Final evaluation of projects.
• Presentation of projects to mentors and peers.
• Certificates distribution.
Budget:
The total budget required for the successful execution of this program is Rs. 30,000. This includes the
cost of materials and equipment, instructor fees, miscellaneous expenses, and refreshments for
participants. Conclusion: We believe that this internship program will provide valuable practical
experience to students, preparing them for the challenges of the modern job market. Therefore, we kindly
request a grant of Rs. 20,000 from the SIEP society to support this initiative. We look forward to your
feedback and approval to proceed with this promising initiative.
