Being the most sophisticated human race on the planet in the history of human civilization can be
attributed in part to technological advancements in computers and automation. How a mobile phone
made of a bit of fiber or metal waste box can be so intelligent and change the lives of billions of
people in a positive way has always amazed me. This interest drew me to the field of engineering,
particularly computer science. With the help of this MS in Cybersecurity, I will have many
opportunities to pursue my dream job in innovation without facing too many difficulties.
I did my secondary schooling from a school in my home town and there I came to know about
computers and software in detail. This discovery intrigued me so much that in my senior secondary I
concentrated my efforts almost exclusively towards computer science. This affected my senior
secondary marks and I decided to concentrate on other subjects too. After completing my 12th grade,
owing to my interest in computer science, I joined the Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science
program at Jamia Hamdard. During this program, I studied various core subjects in computer science
that reinforced my interest in this field. When I started with computer’s one of my Ideals was “Mark
Zuckerberg”. I saw the movie ‘The Social Network’ and decided I too should try to become like him
and create something world should know about but I never got a mentor till my college who can help
me with these programs but in college I got a chance to work with some amazing people creating and
improving text to speech software, where I got to write the code for the project and collected lots of
user Data to refine the technology. I have also collaborated with a team of international colleagues
and contributed to an open-source project related to WEB3. Internship was an integral part of the
B.Tech curriculum and I interned with ETSA. In this internship, I worked with a team of 3 members
in maintaining the legacy code. I also love building websites and I have helped my friends with their
website. I have also represented the college in numerous blockchain, artificial intelligence, and
cryptocurrency seminars, Feb 2022.
Outside of academics, I have worked with the NGO ‘Bazm-e-Khidmat’, and have played cricket at the
For the past two years, I have been working as a Java Developer and IT Consultant at SM Softech
Solutions, where I have been able to obtain much-needed practical experience in the fields of software
development and website design. Additionally, I progressed to full stack development and backend
programming. After working for only two years, I learned about a wide range of technologies that I
had no idea about in college. I hope to continue working in this fascinating field by pursuing a
Master's degree.
I am now eager to further my knowledge in computer science and specialize in a particular niche and
hence have decided to pursue an MS in Computer Science from one of the top universities in the
world. After completing my MS, I wish to work with innovative companies in Nepal. Some of the
companies are NTC Telecom , Leapfrog, Next Nepal, Ncell etc. I will take up roles such as Computer
Engineer or Data Analyst and eventually take up leadership roles in the IT industry.
The US is the ideal place for me to study the MS program as it is known for its excellent higher
education. The combination of experiential learning, highly experienced faculty, and excellent
infrastructure all make studying in the US an exciting option. The best part is that a US master’s is
highly recognized by employers in Nepal and will help me after the MS.

consultants. All of them suggested this university for my particular degree as this is a prestigious
Saint Peter's University and the degree from this university is one of the most recognizable and
prestigious in the world. This university attracts students from around the world. Being a top research
university in the world, I will definitely get a chance to get an experience that will be out of this
world. At this university, "I am eager to study modules such as Cybersecurity Risk
Management, Data Privacy and Protection, Incident Response and Recovery, and
Ethical Hacking. Based on my interests, I will then choose electives that align with my
career goals. Additionally, I look forward to the opportunity to work on a project or
dissertation, which will allow me to deepen my expertise in the field. Moreover, the highly
experienced faculty at your university along with peers from across the world make me eager to study
at your university. I am certain that this course will further my career to the next level. I am eager to
embark on this journey and become a part of your university’s legacy. I thank you for your time and
