I. SUMMARY

Theoretical-practical workshop. Through which the student can create a complete and
coherent fashion portfolio according to current trends.
It allows the student to learn the basic process of design and production of a basic
collection and will allow him to communicate through the technical language used by
Fashion Design professionals. It will allow you to read, understand and execute
technical sheets that will guide the clothing production area, so that you can advise and
execute production.

II. COURSE CAPACITY


Conceptualize and develop a fashion collection, considering the basic process, quality
specifications, development and reading of technical data sheet, physical sample and
design, based on the client's requirements.
Being able to create a trend and sustain a brand.

VI. TEACHING RESOURCES:

For the development of this teaching unit, the teacher will need a computer with a
multimedia projector, a whiteboard, markers, and guide sheets; for the students, laptops,
design materials, and materials for making the garments.

VII. METHODOLOGY

The methodology is active and will promote autonomous and cooperative work, as well as
project-based learning. In this way, active participation of students will be encouraged,
making use of group presentations, analysis of documents and videos, teamwork, debates,
role-playing games, among other strategies.

VIII. ASSESSMENT
• The grading system is vigesimal and the minimum passing grade for the teaching units
is 12.
• The program/diploma is considered approved, provided that all the respective courses
have been passed.

• Any student who accumulates unjustified absences exceeding 30% of the total hours
scheduled for the course will be automatically failed, without the right to
reconsideration.
• The weight assigned to the different evaluation instruments is as follows: Permanent
Evaluation 60% and Final Evaluation 40%.
• Attendance is mandatory according to the Institute's regulations. The limit of absence
for the student to be entitled to take exams is 30%.
