Activity 2. Look at the picture below. What can you say

about them? Describe their similarities and differences.
The image shows a towering iceberg, mostly hidden beneath the
water, symbolizing the unseen complexities behind surface appearances. A
man observing it through a telescope represents humanity's quest for deeper
understanding. The contrast between the visible tip and the vast submerged
portion emphasizes the need for critical thinking and tools to uncover hidden
truths, highlighting the human drive to explore and comprehend the
complexities of the world.

In essence, the image encapsulates the interplay between the seen

and the unseen, the known and the unknown, and the ongoing pursuit of
insight and awareness that defines human nature.

Similarities and Differences:

The iceberg and the man with the telescope share similarities in that
both represent the pursuit of deeper understanding. They emphasize the
importance of looking beyond what is immediately visible, highlighting the
need to uncover hidden complexities.

Both symbols point to the idea that there is more to life and
knowledge than what meets the eye.

However, they also differ in their roles. The iceberg symbolizes the
vast, hidden aspects of the world, existing passively, while the man with the
telescope actively seeks to uncover these depths, using tools to gain insight.
The iceberg represents what is concealed, while the man embodies curiosity
and the human drive to explore. The iceberg is a physical, stationary entity,
while the man is a dynamic figure, demonstrating the active process of
exploration and discovery.
