ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT

CONDUCT OF SCIENCE MONTH CELEBRATION 2024
November 04-05, 2024

Greater understanding in Science and Technology has always been a

way to make the world unstoppable for innovating, transforming, and making
impossible things possible. This could lead to a more progressive system in
which people would appreciate the opportunities that the science and
technology could offer. Science and technology aren’t yet done in fulfilling its
purpose and many things are still excited to be discovered as it gradually
unveils its hidden brightest stars that shine upon mankind.

In line with Division Memorandum No. 359, s.2024 declared the month
of September as the celebration of science and technology supported by
Presidential Proclamation No. 264, s.201. During the said month, both
elementary and secondary schools in Pilar District conducted series of
activity to enhance the scientific attitude of the students such as curiosity,
skepticism, open-mindedness, objectivity, perseverance, humility, and
critical thinking among students and to inculcate the relevance of science
and technology to humankind.

As much as the Pilar District wanted to introduce the Science and

Technology more to the students, they conducted District Science and
Technology Fair (DSTF) 2024 with the theme, “Towards a Shared Vision:
Exploring the Future for a Better Tomorrow” on November 4-5, 2024
(3:00-5:00pm) at Pilar Elementary School, Pilar, Bataan. The objectives of the
event are:
a.To encourage pupils and teachers to become more involved in
scientific education by giving pupils the chance to participate in science
contests in a friendly competition.
b. To support and emphasize the application of "scientific" methods
and the core ideas of science as pupils are directed in the formulation of a
topic and carry out an investigation or experiment that demonstrates an
understanding of several scientific procedures.
c. To provide pupils with an educational experience by honoring
outstanding pupils in the scientific and technology fields.
