INSTALLATION
(9) CAUTION
• To prevent burns, allow the engine, exhaust system,
radiator, etc., to cool before installing the accessory.

• Be sure to obser ve all safety messages and

removing and installing the fuel tank.

• Do not disassemble the stroke sensor.
• Disconnect the negative (-) cable from the battery
before installing this accessory.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This accessory enables up and down gear shifting
without using the clutch. (Engine speed is more than
1,350 rpm on upshifting or more than the 1,200 rpm (idle
speed) on downshifting)
• If there is a problem with the gear position display,
the shift feeling may change.
• If the quick shifter does not operate normally, the
gear shift can be made by normal clutch operation.

If you cannot shift up and down by operating the shift


pedal during acceleration, a failure may have occured.
Refer to the Service Manual for troubleshooting of the
Quick Shifter.

5. Shift the transmission to the neutral position then do


not touch the pedal.

6. Start the engine and let it idle.


• Do not operate the throttle grip.
