-Lawfulness, fairness, and transparency: Personal data must be processed lawfully, fairly, and
transparently.
-Purpose limitation: Data should be collected for specified, legitimate purposes and not
further processed.
-Data minimization: Only data that is necessary for the intended purposes should be
collected.

Data Protection by Design and by Default:


Companies must implement appropriate data protection measures when designing
processes and systems that involve personal data.
Consent:
-Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous.
-Individuals have the right to withdraw consent at any time.

Accountability and Penalties:

Organizations must demonstrate compliance with these regulations and be able to show
how they are managing personal data.
Non-compliance can lead to significant fines, up to 4% of global annual turnover or €20
million (whichever is greater).

Data Protection Officer (DPO):


Certain organizations are required to appoint a Data Protection Officer to ensure compliance
with these regulations, particularly if they process large amounts of personal

Ban non-state actors: if they are found using LAWS,there will be one warning and if they use
LAWS twice UN has the athourity to impose a lockdown on their physical and online
presence.If the situation escalates the UN can deploy their forces on them.
The UN countries will provide funds to the countries who are behind in their progress of AI.
