Regulations of the selection process and awarding of n.

3 scholarships for attendance of the


Polimoda Master Courses – beginning in the academic years 2024/2025
The Association Ente per le Arti applicate alla Moda e al Costume (hereinafter referred to as Polimoda), with registered office in Florence, Via Curtatone,
1, for the purpose of favouring the initiation of new studies and ideas that serve as inspiration for creative, artistic and economic development in the
interests of society as a whole has decided to offer n. 3 partial scholarships each to the value of € 14.000,00 for the attendance of a Polimoda Master
Course in Fashion Brand Management (April 2025 Edition) or a Polimoda Master in Sustainable Fashion or Fashion Trend Forecasting (June
2025 edition).

The partial scholarships will cover 50% of the tuition fee of the course. The remaining 50% of the tuition fee will be paid by the candidate to Polimoda.

The part of the tuition fee of the Polimoda Master Course not covered by the partial scholarship, which totals € 14.000,00, is to be paid to Polimoda in the
following way:

1) € 3.000,00 (three thousand) enrolment fee by and no later than 04/03/2025;

2) the balance of € 11.000,00 (eleven thousand) by and no later than 21/03/2025.

Should the selected candidate fail to pay Polimoda said amounts according to the abovementioned instructions, the selected candidate will
not be able to benefit from the scholarship and it will be awarded on the basis of the ranking working down the list, as indicated in the present
Regulations.

The Polimoda Master Course in Fashion Brand Management, which will be held in English, will have the duration of 32 weeks and will be composed of
classroom lessons, starting on 07/04/2025 and ending on 13/12/2025, in addition to a 3 (three) months of internship, in which the student will participate
subject to verification of the requisites established by the Polimoda Student Regulations.

The Polimoda Master Courses in Sustainable Fashion and Fashion Trend Forecasting, which will be held in English, will have the duration of 32 weeks
and will be composed of classroom lessons, starting on 30/06/2025 and ending on 14/03/2026, in addition to a 3 (three) months of internship, in which
the student will participate subject to verification of the requisites established by the Polimoda Student Regulations.

Please note that the scholarship does not cover housing and living expenses or any other extras.

Polimoda reserves the right to not assign the scholarships.

General Admission Requirements


In order to apply for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements. They must:

• have at least B2*1 level English;


• be no older than 40 (forty) years old;
• have a degree (or another equivalent qualification, or approximately two years of experience gained in the sector), or be a graduating student
who has already sat all the exams in their degree course when the Polimoda Master Course begins, and who will defend their degree theses
within 6 (six) months from the commencement of the classroom lessons.
A selected candidate who has not already graduated cannot, in any case, begin the period of internship and, therefore, obtain the Certification
of the Polimoda Master Course (which will only be issued when the internship has been completed), until he/she has graduated.

Students who are already enrolled in a Polimoda Master course or Undergraduate course cannot participate in the selection process.

It is only possible to apply for one scholarship among those made available by Polimoda.

It is not possible to apply simultaneously for this scholarship and for one of those made available for Undergraduate courses.

It is understood that any enrolment discounts and/or financial incentives recognised and applied during the enrolment process, and/or during the academic
year, will not be recognised nor applied in addition to the scholarship described in this Regulation.

Selection process
In order to apply for the scholarship, candidates must select the Polimoda Master Course which he/she intends to attend and complete the following steps:

• Application Form submission via the Course page on Polimoda's website;


• Certificate or (self-certification attached to the present Regulations) of English level (B2 required) must be sent via e-mail to
scholarship@polimoda.com.
• Interview with a Course Leading Teacher, following which candidates will be assessed by a system of marks out of thirty.

Only the candidates who obtain a minimum score of 26/30 will be considered for the successive selection phases.

Evaluation
The selection for the assignment of the scholarship will be carried out at the sole discretion of an admission committee composed of the Head of
Department and/or Department Supervisor and two Course Leading Teachers (hereinafter “the admission committee”).

The admission committee will draw up a ranking of the top candidates, taking into account their effective merits, curriculum vitae, motivation letter and the
score obtain during the aforementioned selection process.

The scholarship will be awarded to the candidate listed at the top of the ranking. In case of equal merit amongst the candidates, precedence will be given
to the candidate who first submitted the application form.

Deadline and notifications

In order to participate to the selection process, candidates are required to apply for the scholarship non later than 11/02/2025.

The result of the selection process will be announced to the selected candidate no later than 17/02/2025.

The selected candidate will have to give written confirmation to Polimoda of his/her intention to attend the course and accept the scholarship no later than
25/02/2025. Should the candidate listed at the top of the ranking forgo, or be unable to benefit from the scholarship for any reason, the scholarship will be
awarded on the basis of the ranking working down the list.

Before the commencement of the Polimoda Master Course, the selected candidate must sign the course enrolment contract and the Polimoda Student
Regulations relative to the programme for which the scholarship is assigned (please refer to the website www.polimoda.com).

The aforementioned documents will be applicable to all the phases of the training programme and on the signature of these documents, the candidate is
undertaking to fully comply with the relative provisions of the same.

The scholarship awarded to the selected candidate for attendance of the Polimoda Master Course will be subject to said course being held. The course
in question will be held subject to the minimum number (as established by Polimoda’s Management) of enrolments being reached and therefore making
the course viable to run. Confirmation will be given to the selected candidate at least 10 (ten) days before the start of the course as to whether the minimum
number of enrolments necessary to activate the course has been reached, and consequently the definite assignment of the scholarship. Should the
minimum number of enrolments for the Polimoda Master Course fail to be reached, the scholarship may be used by the selected candidate to cover the
fee of another master course organised by Polimoda in the same intake (April 2025 or June 2025). The most appropriate course will be identified by the
Head of Department and/or the Department Supervisor together with the selected candidate, taking into account the aptitude, personal predisposition and
curriculum vitae of the latter.

Polimoda reserves the right to amend the aforementioned deadlines. Please always check the online version of the Regulations of the selection
process.

Pursuant to Article 6 of Italian Presidential Decree 430 of 26.10.2001, this selection is not considered a prize competition or operation: as a result, it
does not require ministerial authorisation.
