    SPECIFICATIONS Appearance: Colourless to pale straw liquid Solid Content: 78-82% Free Amine: 1% max Odour: mild almond Solubility: Soluble in water and common organic solvents pH (5% w/w): 7.5(1) CAS No.: 68424-85-1 Properties: Benzalkonium Chloride is a quaternary ammonium class of cationic surfactants. It is readily soluble in water, ethanol, acetone and other solvents. Standard products are manufactured as 50% or 80% solutions in water. It is non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-tainting and nonstaining. BKC safely incorporates both, microbiocidal & detergency properties into products.
