A. Create Rectangle.
Step 5. Set: Width 9 and Height 3. Step 6. For the Placement Point, click the bottom left gray rectangle and click OK. Step 7. Origin. Step 8. Use ALT-F1 to t rectangle on the screen. Hold down ALT and press F1. Step 9. MAIN MENU. Step 10. Save the drawing. Use: File, Save and hydro for a lename.
Step 1. Draw the next lines, the center lines a different color. Change the color to green. Click the color swatch in the Secondary Menu. Click green, number 10 and click OK. Step 2. Change the line style to Center Lines. Click Attributes in the Secondary Menu. Set Line Style to Center and click OK. Step 3. MAIN MENU. Step 4. Create. Step 5. Line. Step 6. Endpoint. Step 7. Midpoint. Fig. 1 Step 8. Click the left side of the rectangle and stretch the line across to the other side of the rectangle and click, Fig. 1.
Click and drag across. Then, click here.
Step 1. Draw the hull spline a different color. Change the color to cyan. Click the color swatch in the Secondary Menu. Click cyan, number 11 and click OK. Step 2. Step 7. Draw lines between Points (0, 2.4) and (2.6, 2.4). Also Points, (8, 2.2), (7, 2.2) and (7, .8), Fig. 2. Use the Cursor Tracking Window located in the top right corner of the display to view the coordinates. Position the cursor as close as possible then click.

E. Trim Spline.
Step 2. Modify. Step 3. Trim. Step 4. 1 Entity.

Step 5. Trim the spline. Click the spline to trim at Position 1, then trim to the line at Position 2, Fig. 5.
Step 10. Save your drawing. Use Alt-A and press ENTER.
Step 7. Key-in 0, -3 and press ENTER. Do not forget the minus sign for the -3. Step 8. Use ALT-F1 to t drawing on the screen.

I. Delete Lines.
Step 1. Lines 1, 2, 3 and 4, Fig. 8 are no longer needed. Use F5 to delete them. Press F5 then click the 4 lines. Press ESC to exit delete. Step 2. Use F3 to Repaint display.
