Essential Functions
Loads orders for the purpose of preparing orders for transport. Maintains vehicles and warehouse equipment (e.g. cleaning, inspecting, fueling, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe
operation of vehicle.
Participates in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses. Receives stock and nonstock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct. Responds to inquiries of staff and vendors for the purpose of providing information and/or direction regarding the status of
deliveries.
Sorts packages and other materials and supplies for the purpose of distributing items to assigned sites and/or individuals. Transports orders required for instructional and support operations throughout the District (e.g. science resource kits, text
books, paper supplies, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring materials are available at various sites as required.
Unloads deliveries for the purpose of distributing shipment at assigned site locations and/or to appropriate individuals.
Other Functions
Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities. Assists with other warehouse functions including print shop for the purpose of supporting personnel in the overall workload
requirements.
Makes minor assemblies of furniture and equipment as may be required for the purpose of providing items in working order
at assigned site.

ABILITY is required to schedule activities; collate data; and use job-related equipment. Flexibility is required to work with data utilizing specific, defined processes; and operate equipment using standardized methods. Ability is also required to work with a wide diversity of individuals; work with specific, job-related data; and utilize job-related equipment. In working with others, Problem solving with data requires following prescribed guidelines; and problem solving with equipment is limited to moderate. Specific abilities required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: adapting to changing work priorities; displaying mechanical aptitude; displaying tact and courtesy; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with diverse groups; meeting deadlines and schedules; setting priorities; working in an environment with constant interruptions; frequently performing physical demanding activities.
Responsibility
Responsibilities include: working under direct supervision using standardized routines; providing information and/or advising others; and operating within a defined budget. Utilization of some resources from other work units may be required to perform the job's functions. There is some opportunity to effect the Organizations services.
Working Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 10% sitting, 80% walking, and 10% standing. The job is performed under with some temperature extremes and a generally hazard free environment. Experience Education Job related experience is desired. High School diploma or equivalent.
