Welcome!
Hi! I am your travel agent, and I will take you on a 7 day trip through the beautiful country of Argentina. Argentina is filled with history, culture, and geography. It is Latin Americas second biggest country, and the capital is Buenos Aires. We will visit many landmarks, historical sights, and fun destinations.
Day 1
Early in the morning, you will arrive at the La Plata airport. Today We will visit the the beautiful archipelago of the Tierra del Fuego. The Tierra Del Fuego is known for its beautiful beaches, and amazing coral reefs, that are great for scuba diving. The Tierra del Fuego is located at the tip of Argentina, across the strait of Magellan.
Day 2
Today, our destination will be the grassy plain of the Pampas. Argentina is known for its delicious meat, which comes from the pampas. The pampas has a mild climate. The summers are warm and winters are mild. the pampas are also known for its cattle herding. for lunch and dinner, you will eat at one of the many resturants on the outer edge of the pampas, which all serve meat from the cattle on the pampas. I would recommend locra, a traditional Argentina dish that consists of a meat stew.
Day 3
Today, you will be hiking on the Andes. You will take the southern face trail along the side of mount. Aconcagua. Mount. Aconcagua is the tallest mountain in south America. it is 22,837 ft. tall. This is a full day climb, and you will get back to the hotel late. unfourtunatley, you can not climb to the summit, because that type of hike would take about 4 days.
Day 4
Today, you will visit one of the most well known festivals of all time: Carnival! Carnival is filled with music, dancing and parades. This holiday happens right before lent, so most of the main events are in February. People dress in colors, feathers, and gems and stand on parade floats. Lots of the people on the floats dance. One of the most popular dances in Argentina is the tango. The tango has been around since the 1920s
Day 5
Today, you will take a bus to the city of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. First, you will visit the MALBA museum. After you go to the museum, you will have lunch and then you will go shopping. Buenos Aires is filled with street vendors selling beautiful antiques and metals. One popular metal that is sold is silver. When Spanish explorers came to Argentina, they were looking for silver. The word Argentina means silver. when in Buenos Aires, you will see the Obelisk, a tall stone pillar in the middle of the city that was built 40 years ago.
Day 6
Today, you will visit the beautiful Iguazu falls. The Iguazu falls is the waterfall coming off of the Iguazu river. The waterfall can be put into to categories, the upper and lower falls. Iguazu falls are special, because they are not like other waterfalls. The Iguazu waterfall is not just one waterfall, but 270 mini waterfalls in the shape of a half moon. The word Iguazu means great waters. There is a footbridge across the Devils Throat, the biggest water fall at the Iguazu falls.
Day 7
Today is your final day in Argentina. For your final activity, you will Nahuel Huapi national park. The Nuel Huapi is at the foothills of the Andes mountains, in san Carlos de Bariloche, near the Rio negro. The Nuel Huapi is the oldest national park in Argentina. You will eat lunch there, and then get into a bus to go to the La Plata airport, then you will take the plane back home. I hope you had a great time in Argentina!
Daily life
Family life is very important to Argentinians. Many generations of families usually live together, creating tight family bonds
Breakfast is usually a light meal of rice and beans, or sometimes sweet rolls (called medialunas). They drink coffee in the French fashion Lunch is the biggest meal of the day and is usually held from 1 to 4.
Dinner takes place late, generally after 8 or 9 pm and typically consists of meat

some of Argentina is covered with the pampas, a fertile grassland known for its meat. Argentina has the worlds second biggest water system. The Panara, the Paraguay, and the Uruguay rivers all meet up to form the Rio de la Plata, and estuary on the Atlantic coast. On the west side of Argentina lies the Andes mountain range, the biggest mountain range in Latin America.
