    cricket team during
    1998/99 cricket season.
     International debut in
    2004.
     Took over as India’s T20
    and ODI captain in
    2007.
     Took over as India’s test
    captain in 2009.
     Earlier, was the goalkeeper of his school’s
    football team.
     Represented a local cricket club as wicketkeeper.
     Did not make an impressive debut in ODI.
     Aims to give youngsters a chance.
     Remains calm and never criticizes any player.
     Aims to take India to no.1 ranking in tests and
    ODI’s and continue this form with consistency.
     Promotes youngsters.
     Focusses on bowling performance as it is team’s
    weakness.
     Inspires players to perform rather than forcing
    them to perform.

    match, one has to start from the scratch. It is

     Was dismissed at duck in his very first match.
     Form dipped through 2006 at ICC Champions
    Trophy,DLF Cup.
     Remained in controversies about dating Deepika
    Padukone but neither of them accepted.
