Quality Planning

The Quality Planning component allows you to

 Manage quality information for materials, vendors, manufacturers & customers


 Monitor the QM Systems of vendors & manufacturers
 Plan inspections for goods rececipt, stock transfers, production orders
inspection points....

 Plan inspection operations in work processes.

Quality Inspection

In the Quality Inspection component you will

 Use inspection specifications that have been predefined in the “inspection


planning“

 Determine if the products meet the given quality requirements (internal or


external)

 Book products into blocked stock if the requirements are not met.

Quality Control

The Quality Control component enables you to

 Collect, aggregate and analyze data from quality management.


 Display of all quality information from a wide range of perspectives
 Define the level of detail at which you whish to see the information

enables you to conduct analyses and evaluate quality
management data

Quality Certificates

The Quality Certificate component enables you to

 Ensure, that a product meets the quality demanded internally & by the
customer

 Create quality certificates automatically or semi-automatically for delivery


items.

 Distribute certificates to a predefined list of recipients


 Create certificates in the language of each recipient

In general, certificates are created for each delivery item.

Test Equipment Management

The Test Equipment Management enables you to

 Conduct Quality inspections for the equipment used in the company

QM in Procurement (1)

 QM controls the release of vendors for particular material

 QM suggests the vendor with a suitable quality standard for procuring goods.

 QM automatically sends quality agreements and technical terms along with


enquiries and purchase orders.

 Vendors are required to enclose the quality certificates along with the delivery

 QM schedules inspections at vendor’s premises

Overall, QM ensures and monitores that deliveries are of the


needed quality

QM in goods receipt (2)

Delivery from vendor

 Triggers inspections automatically when goods are received (If applicable for
this material)

 Provides Information what certificates are required by the vendor and controls
if they are complete.

 Transfers all goods received into Quality stock until they are cleared from QM

 Prevents the vendors payment if to quality problems apply.

Overall, QM in goods receipt ensures that goods are tested if they


can be further used

 Inspection is automatically triggered during production

 Inspection possible by serial numbers of items.

 Flexibility to define inspection intervals

 Continuos process improvement can be possible by analyzing adjusting the


results graphically

 Production personal are notified with quality related problems

 Production can be monitored and controlled through SPC techniques and


control charts

Overall, QM in production ensures that produced goods meet the


targeted quality

QM in sales (4)

Basically QM in „sales“ is like QM in „goods receipt“ only the other way around:

 Inspection is triggered by a delivery to customer.

 If quality certificate are needed they are printed automatically along with
delivery documents

 Handles all customer complaints and traces back the problems to vendors or to
internal problems such as in production

QM in sales assures the quality of goods that are delivered to our


customers.

What‘s new to the QM Module of the 5.0 release?

What are the changes or add-ons in the 5.0 release of the QM module
compared to the 4.6 release?

 Archiving of samples is now possible with the 5.0 relelase (New feature!)

 Master Data of the samples was extended by 5 new dimensions (Extension to


the existing feature)

 Possibililty to conduct „Stabilitätstudien“ concerning the management of


Testing. (New feature!)
