DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Methods
■ The Engineer Professional Development Program (EPDP) for Young Engineers is a
fast-track structured development process training program, which requires high availability
& capacity of the participant to absorb the new knowledge within six (6) months. The
participant will acquire knowledge through formal classroom session at Cement Knowledge
Center by FLSmidth & Yanbu Cement Company, and receive plant assignments under the
supervision of Plant Experts, as well as group and individual projects.

■ The (EPDP) is structured to develop participants with a global mindset on how to work in
an autonomous manner but also to work effectively in team. The candidates will acquire
the technical knowledge and management skills to be one of the main actors in their plant
based on their technical discipline knowledge and contribute effectively in improving plant
efficiencies &
variable cost reduction programs. It is expected that candidates who complete the program
successfully will become the future leaders in the plant.

Prerequisites
English: Participants should have appropriate
skills to be able to understand and actively
contribute to group discussions.

Audience
Young engineers with less than
3 years’ experience. Bachelor of Engineering
