“4 year vs. 2yr college”

Some people attended 2 year colleges to have finish quicker, cheaper cost. My plan is
to attend a 2 year college then later transfer.
“Semester Review” 1/7/19
My greatest academic strengths last semester were not slacking off when it came to
homework and time management. I think I was successful in these areas becuase I
would put in effort. I should focus on my Ap bio and math class during this semester,
I need to atleast get a B in both areas and not settle for c’s anymore.
Stress and anxiety
Anxiety means feeling nervous. I am anxious when it comes to presenting in public or
when I'm going to take tests. I am stressed when I study last minute for my tests and
quizzes. Yes all tests give me anxiety especially the ones in math and ap bio.. A specific
time that I remember being anxious would be last week when I only had a day to study
for a med-tec test.
 “Community Service”
1. Volunteering strengthens your community. ( community becomes better when everyone gets involved
that why I put this on the top )
2. Volunteers gain professional experience. ( Volunteering makes you look good and professional)

Commitment 8/20
I define commitment as being dedicated to something/ someone. One time when i
have shown deep level of commitment was to cross country freshman and sophomore
year. I think I was able to commit because its a sport where you depend on your
teammates and yourself.

After viewing the clip I feel sad, due to the fact how she was going through something
and didn't really remember anything and her husband was always by her side to help
her. I could use my dad as an example of commitment due to how he is always gone
working just to help support me and my family at home financially .

I define success as not giving up and achieving what you want.
Success it looks like achieving what you want and not giving up. It
looks like going through hard times and pushing through it, and
completing the situation and being successful.
 8/22/16 “First week of HS”
On the first week of school I enjoyed meeting new people, and being able to hang out
with my old friends from middle school. I enjoyed being in a new environment and
getting to know new staff. I also enjoyed getting to have a fresh new start in school. I
am looking forward to enjoying my freshmen year, and the rest of my highschool
years.
8/26 /16 “Unity”
No One of us is as strong as all of us together. This to me means being united as a
group. Being united as a group means coming together. It also means working together
and getting along with one another and supporting each other in every decision and
every choice we make. This is what No One of us is as strong as all of us together,
means to me.

Spanish class and math are the most challenging. Spanish is the most challenging,
because I am not really good at reading in spanish, but I know how to speak it and
understand it. Math class is also challenging class, due to me getting confused with
math steps. Tutorials might help me because I am going to get help from others and
they are going to help me get a better understanding of my confusion, and this will
help me be more successful in those classes.
 ¨Drivers License¨
I do plan on getting my license when I turn sixteen. I do plan on getting it because I
wanna be able to drive myself to places. And not be asking people for rides. I wanna be
able to drive myself to practice and not be bugging my parents or my brothers for a
ride all the time. I do have older friends that have their driver license.
10/21 “Psat reflection”
1. Quiet, crowded, stressful.
2. One piece of advice that I was given was to manage my time on questions.

3. I was feeling stressed out on the day of the test, because i didn’t manage my time
good enough on questions.

4. If I had only manage my time good enough on the math section with no calculator,
Then i would of gotten that part done.

5. I think I performed well on the psat, but I some of the questions were quite difficult
for me to understand on the math part.

I was concerned about not being able to help out for the charity case, In order to help
out for this charity problem, I need to give service around my neighborhood and the
community helping around. I have a lot of compassion or helping others. I learned
about philanthropy, and how to be altruism.
 ¨Future¨
In 15 years I see myself living in San diego. In a two story house by the beach with my
family, my husband and my 3 kids. I have 2 pets and they are dogs. They are huskies. I
drive my own suv gmc truck to work at a doctors office. I wear scrubs to work, I am not
sure if i have the weekend days off or not it depends.
 3/8/17 ¨College choice¨
If I were to choose a college i would choose uc merced. I would pick this college
because it's close to home. I want to be close to home because I am far I don't know
anyone and I will start to feel homesick.
3/3/17 ¨Field trip¨
I chose to stay because I had missing work, and needed to get my work turned in and
grades up. My math grade was low and I needed to get it up because my grades are
important to me. Another reason why I stayed was because of a swim meet I had
yesterday. I couldn't miss it because every swim meet is 50 points, and swimming is
very important to me because it's a sport that I love.
 “Equality”
I think the meaning of equality is being treated equal. I think of this because of how it
it nowadays everybody has their own beliefs and way of acting. But nowadays it isn't
like that people aren't getting treated equally, for example females and males females
get discriminated and dont have the same rights are males.
 Mandala Reflection
I am most proud of sharing what the symbols symbolize for me in the essay and in the
drawings. I was able to accomplish it by having all these items come to mind when I
was doing the mandala drawings, and essay. I see some problems on my essay and they
are run on sentences, I need to find a way to make the sentences short and not keep
going on forever. I am least happy with my rough draft, because I had a lot of run on
sentences, and spelling errors.
1/18/17 “PSAT Results”
I learned from my report that I did bad on the math portion. I did kind of well on the
reading and writing part. The algebra part caused difficulty for me because I am not
that good in math.I have goals in improving on the math area and improving the
scores in that part. I will use the show the work strategy and write everything out.
¨Motivation” 12/5
Motivation is the general desire of someone to do something.Motivation connects to
me because I always have the motivation to become better for myself. My family
motivates me, they are always there to give me an extra push when I go through hard
times, They help me achieve my goals from time to time which motivates me even
more.
 “Rock reflection”
This illustration relates to me as an avid student, because it shows how my time is
being managed. Some examples of stones in my life would be school work, sports. The
pebbles represent my social life with friends, and family, The sand would represent my
time on my phone and doing any other activity not related to the stones or pebbles. I
tend to fill up my jar with stones, because of wrestling and school work they take up
most of my time, i barely have time for any sand. There are some pebbles in the jar but
it's mostly full with stones.
 “procrastination”
Aside from not having time to not getting my work done, Sports also get in the way
from me being able to complete it. I think I procrastinate because I know I have
practice, and don't do it when I have free time. Another reason why I procrastinate is
because I leave my homework till last minute, and do it late at night.

I think #2 would be helpful for me, which is finishing the hard stuff first. I think it
would be helpful for me because i am be getting the hardest stuff done first, then when
I go back to get my other work done I’ll have to do the easy stuff which is going to take
less time.

I didn’t choose to go to the field trip because I had a dentist appointment
