SCRIPTURAL TEXT
Mat 28:18-20

18 Jesus came to them and said: I have been given all authority in
heaven and on earth!
19 Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize
them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
20 and teach them to do everything I have told you. I will be with you
always, even until the end of the world.
• Making Disciple

Every genuine believer or Disciple was

by Jesus Christ.
Commission:
• Being sent out for a certain mission
• Having legal order to accomplish certain task
We, the Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ have
an important Legal Order to
accomplish from a person of
Highest Authority -

Vs. 18 Jesus came to them and said: I have been

given all authority in heaven and on earth!
Jesus here is emphasizing his Supreme
Authority over heaven and earth that
within that Authority that the Father has
given Him, whatever command he will
promulgate to those who are under His
Authority
last Words
This is Jesus’ before He ascended to
the Heavens and the people He addressed during this time
were His Disciples . . This is one of the
most Important things.
Jesus wants us to do.
This are few most selected last Words of a person who will
serious
be leaving. Jesus is in this matter and it
is evident by His emphasis on His Ruling Authority
over Heaven and Earth.
The task Jesus wanted us to do is
to do
but a to strictly
adhere.
Vs. 19 Go ye therefore, and make
disciples of all the nations… (ASB)
• This is a
• The governing emotion in this passage
is
• The word “Therefore” connotes the highest peak
of the subject matter.
• The Focal Point of a statement: “GO” and “Make
Disciples of all Nations”
It is therefore a if we are not Obeying
this Command.

if we are not Making

Disciples.
 To start a DISCIPLESHIP Generation and Culture

 To build a multiplying generations of trainers

 To start a comprehensive process of training believers to witness

train
to the lost and new believers to form reproducing discipleship
communities generation by generation.

 To prepare a Core Leadership for Church Planting Movement

(CPM) or small groups.
IGNITE ONE
Training Trainers
Training Disciple Makers
Training Disciples become Disciple Makers
Discipleship to the 4 Generation
th
The Process:

4 Important Components

1. Three Important Principles/Statements

2. 4 Important Questions
3. The 4 Fields
4. Reaching Out (Witnessing Tips)
1. Three Important Principles :

1. Go not Come.
2. EVERYBODY not just Some.
3. MAKE DISCIPLE MAKERS
not Church Members
1. Go not Come.
Vs.19 “Go” ye therefore!

Unless you GO, you cannot make Disciples.

You cannot sit down and just stay in the comfort of the Church
and expect unbelievers to come in.

The unbelievers are outside of the church.

We should be outside of the church where they are,
Share them the Gospel and as they respond, we
make them Disciple of Christ until the time they
themselves are making the same thing with you –
making Disciples of Jesus.

The command is CLEAR: To GO!

2. EVERYBODY not just Some.
Vs.19 “Go” ye therefore and make disciples of ”all” the nations.

We do not choose the people we only prefer to

share the Gospel. Given all the opportunity to
share, then share the Gospel to anyone regardless
of the demographic.
Acts 1:8 But the Holy Spirit will come upon you and give you
power. Then you will tell everyone about me in
Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and everywhere in the
world."

We start first in our Jerusalem or our “Oikos.”

• Oikos – your network of relationship
• Family, Friends, Classmates, Neighbors, Officemate, Etc..
3. MAKE DISCIPLE MAKERS
not Church Members
2Timothy 2:2
and what you have heard from me in the presence of many
witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach
others also.

Jesus (Gen Zero) Paul (1st Gen) Timothy (2nd Gen)

Faithful Men (3rd Gen) Others (4th Gen)

2. 4 Important Questions:
1. WHAT do I say?
2. WHO do I say it to?
3. WHY should I say this?
4. WHAT DO I DO if they say Yes?
1. WHAT do I say?
2 Approaches
The Triple As
ASK
Ask them questions about what they believe, not to trap them, but
to understand them and break down any relational barriers that are
keeping them from considering Jesus.

ADMIRE
Admire everything you can about what they believe in order to help
people open up. Don’t affirm their heresy but their honesty. Find
areas of common ground you can compliment them on.

ADMIT
Admit that the reason you are a Christian is that you know you’ve
fallen short and need someone to rescue you. That someone is
Jesus.
Bridging

I. Your Story (Bridge) Brief, Concise, 2-3 Minutes

- Your life BEFORE Christ.
- HOW you MET Christ.
- Your life IN Christ.
I. Your Story (For Non-Salvation)
(Bridge) Brief, Concise, 2-3 Minutes
- A Problem
- HOW God changed the problem, and
- Victory since then.
(e.g. freedom from alcoholism, overcoming a bad
temper, finding a way to forgive someone, etc.
Don’t forget:
A testimony is designed to move
someone’s heart to listen to the
Gospel, but it is not the Gospel itself! The
goal of the testimony is simply to help
sharers bridge to the Gospel.
II. The Confession
A – ADMIT YOU ARE A SINNER. (ROMANS 3:23)
B – BE WILLING TO TURN FROM SIN (REPENT). (ACTS 17:30)
BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOU, WAS BURIED AND ROSE
FROM THE DEAD. (ROMANS 10:9-10)

C – THROUGH PRAYER, CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH AND INVITE JESUS

CHRIST INTO YOUR LIFE TO BECOME YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR AND LORD.
(ROMANS 10:13)

WHAT TO PRAY:
DEAR GOD, I AM A SINNER AND NEED FORGIVENESS. I
BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST SHED HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD
AND DIED FOR MY SIN. I AM WILLING TO TURN FROM SIN.
I NOW INVITE JESUS CHRIST TO COME INTO MY HEART
AND LIFE AS MY PERSONAL SAVIOR. AMEN.
2. WHO do I say it to?
“My Oikos”- Circle of your Relationship
Influence
- Primarily our FAMILY
- Friends, Neighbors, Classmates
- Schoolmates, Co-Workers, Etc..
- Others, etc.
Example of Saved “Oikos”
-DEMON POSSESSED MAN
Mark 5:12-20
o Man of Gerasenes healed by Jesus and asked to follow Jesus
o Sent to share good news with his family
o Sent to the Decapolis (10 cities)
o Whole family saved
-CORNELIUS Book of Acts
o A man of reputation and position
o Seeks after God
o Sends for Peter
o Influences his whole household
-LYDIA Book of Acts
o Business person
o Immediately led her family to Christ
Person of Peace (POP):
- These are the people God has Prepared who
responded to the Gospel and share the Gospel to
Others.
- Example: Man of Gerasenes, Cornelius and Lydia
- These are the kind of People we are looking for. These
people will be our Priority.
Person of Peace , Son of Peace , or Peaceful Person (POP ,
SOP, PP):
Luke 10:1 After this, the Lord appointed seventy other disciples and was about to send
them ahead of him in pairs to every town and place that he intended to go.

:2 So he instructed them, "The harvest is vast, but the workers are few. So ask the Lord
of the harvest to send workers out into his harvest.

:3 Get going! See, I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.

:4 Don't carry a wallet, a travelling bag, or sandals, and don't greet anyone on the
way.

:5 "Whatever house you go into, first say, 'May there be peace in this house.'

:6 If a peaceful person lives there, your greeting of peace will remain with him. But if
that's not the case, your greeting will come back to you.

:7 Stay with the same family, eating and drinking whatever they provide, because the
worker deserves his pay. Don't move from house to house.

:8 "Whenever you go into a town and the people welcome you, eat whatever they
serve you,

:9 heal the sick that are there, and tell them, 'The kingdom of God is near you!'
:10 But whenever you go into a town and people don't welcome you, go
out into its streets and say,

:11 'We are wiping off your town's dust that clings to our feet in protest
against you! But realize this: the kingdom of God is near!'

:12 I tell you, on the last day it will be easier for Sodom than for that
town!"

:13 "How terrible it will be for you, Chorazin! How terrible it will be for you,
Bethsaida! If the miracles that happened in you had taken place in Tyre
and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and
ashes.

:14 It will be easier for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you!

:15 And you, Capernaum! You won't be lifted up to heaven, will you?
You'll go down to Hell!

:16 The person who listens to you listens to me, and the person who
rejects you rejects me. The person who rejects me rejects the one who
sent me."
Person of Peace (POP):

These are our targets

– the ripe harvest
fields
“White already unto harvest”
say not ye, There are yet four months, and then
cometh the harvest? behold, I say unto you,
Lift up your eyes , and
look on the fields
that they are white already unto harvest.
- John 4:35
3. WHY should I say this?
- It is God’s Command to follow.
- It is our Expression of our Love
for GOD.
Natural manifestation
- It is the
of our genuine salvation.
4. WHAT DO I DO if they say Yes?

ACCEPT Jesus
This is the point in time when they believe the gospel message and trust in Jesus
as their only
hope of salvation.

BELONG to a Church
The Bible says in Hebrews 10:25 that we shouldn’t forsake the assembling of
ourselves
together. It is vitally important to help newly converted teenagers connect to
other Christians
so that they can get strong roots in their newfound faith.
COMMIT to The Cause (iGNITE One Discipleship)
Teens that come to Christ and connect to a church should be challenged to
commit to THE
Cause. They must be motivated to grow deep in their relationship with God as
they go wide
to accomplish THE Cause.
