ACEH MUSEUM
Architecture Design Project
Banda Aceh has a Aceh Museum. Besides being a place to keep historic objects, the museum also has a function as a center for education and
recreation. The facilities of Aceh Museum is minimal as well as the activities so the visitor's interest is less interested in visiting the museum. As post-
tsunami development, Government has built Tsunami Museum that looks more attractive and more interesting than the Aceh Museum. One of the main
factors that cause this are design factors. A museum should reflect the culture, the building was constructed in order to get a place in the environment
and society. There needs to redesign the spatial and building facades for Aceh Museum into a modern building, but still has a soul and identity of Aceh
that the younger generations are interested in visiting the museum
