• I want to create a shoe protector.
• My product and report are predicted to be complete at the end of term 2
next year (2019).
Term1 : I started my report and experiment.
• This is because, I saw many students faced difficulties during heavy rain as
their shoes will be wet and dirty. This cause them to be not able to go to
school with their school shoes and get scolded and caught.
• My family and friends really support me on doing this product as it can
help many people.
• My product would help in protecting shoes from getting wet and dirty
during raining days.
• I will use some reusable items to create my product.

help me in producing waterproof outcome that can protect the shoes from getting wet. The sole of
the slippers have threads which can produce friction that avoid user of the product from slipping
off.

ESSAY
Based on the chosen MYP Global Context, scientific and technical
innovation, humans adapt environments to their needs. The reason
why I chose this global context is because, I wanted to invent an item
that might help many people to overcome their problem during rainy
days and thunderstorms. During rainy days and thunderstorms, there
will be many water puddles that can cause shoes to be wet and dirty. In
this situation, it might cause difficulties to students that do not owned
any extra school shoes. The school shoes might not able to dry
overnight. I heard complaints from my friends about this problem. I
gave it a thought and by using my critical and creative thinking skills, I
came with this idea to create this product (shoes protector) to
overcome the problem faced by me, myself and as well as my friends.
