AGV
Introduction
• AGV is a portable robot that follows markers
or wires in the floor, or uses vision, magnets,
or lasers for navigation.
• AGVs are used to carry the raw materials and
finished products.
• Contains fork lift to lift the objects.
• The first ever AGV was started in 1950s.

• CAN bus system communications
• Separate speed control for each vehicle
• Self charging and low energy consumption

Driveless trains
- Consists of towing vehicle
that pulls one or more trailer.

AGV Pallet trucks
• Used to move palletized
load.
• Handeled by mechanically
or automatically.
• Less load carrying capacity.
• Occupies less space and less
expensive.
Unit load carriers
• Used to move unit loads
on required destination.
• Automatic loading and
unloading of pallets by
rollers.
• Load capacity is about
250 kg
• Designed to move small loads.

• Wired navigations
• Guide type navigation
• Laser type navigation
