• This study will focus on the reasons why students doing mañana habit or procrastination. Specifically, it aims to answer the following
questions;
1. What is the respondents profile in terms of:

1.1 Age
1.2 Strand/Track
2. What are the factors why Grade 12 Senior High School students of JFBSHS doing mañana habit?
2.0 Time Management
2.1 Activities
2.2 Concentration
2.3 Fear of Failure/ Anxiety
3. How may the findings be utilized to prevent the mañana habit among Grade 12 Senior High School students of JFBSHS?

- Selected 207 of Grade 12 Senior High School students
- selected students from ABM, HUMSS, TVL and GAS
INSTRUMENTS
- Survey-Questionnaire -Questionnaire is structured using Likert format.
TECHNIQUES
- Stratified Sampling Techniques
STATISTICAL TREATMENT
- Used Slovin’s formula

CHAPTER 5
SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND
RECOMMENDATION
SUMMARY

• The Mañana habit that we are focusing are the reasons why students do procrastination among
Grade 12 Senior High School. These are Time Management, Activities,
Concentration/Conscientiousness and Fear of Failure/Anxiety. These are the hindrances or
reasons why students delayed doing their school works.
• The Researchers findings are the following:
• 1. Table 1.1 Researchers found respondents with the age of 16 to 21 years old.
• 2. Table 1.2 Researchers found respondents 99 male and 108 female.
• 3. Table 1.3 Researchers found respondents from different sections from grade 12 Senior High
School ABM, HUMSS 1, HUMSS 2, GAS, TVL 1, TVL 2, TVL 3, TVL 4.
• 4. Table 2.1 shows that many of the respondents procrastinate because of “Interruptions” like
facebook, twitter, and instagram that disrupt their daily works.
• 5. Table 2.2 shows that the respondents procrastinate because they spend too much time in
browsing and texting using their phones.
• 6. Table 2.3 shows that the respondents are easily distracted by the background noise like
voices that became the reason why their works delayed that caused procrastination.
• 7. Table 2.4 shows that the respondents tends to think and focus on upsetting situations or
events happening in their life than doing the activities they need to do. And became the reason
why their works delayed that caused procrastination.
CONCLUSION

• Based on the findings of the study, the following conclusions were showed.
• The researchers conclude that:
• 1. there are factors of mañana habit among Grade 12 SHS students.
• 2. most of the students do mañana habit.
• 3. this study help the students to be focused and have motivation to do their school works.
• 4. the selected respondents are lack in managing time.
• 5. find out what are the factors that the students usually the reason why they do
procrastination.
• 6. that most of the students procrastinate because they spend too much time on browsing
their phones.
• 7. Concentration/ Conscientiousness can be factor why students procrastinate.
• 8. almost selected respondents tend to think about their future that can cause fear/anxiety
and procrastination.
• 9. became habit of Grade 12 Senior High School students.
• 10. can affect the performance of students in their study.
RECOMMENDATION

• Based on the findings or the study and the conclusions formulated, the following
recommendations are hereby formulated.
• 1. Set a goals or plans
• 2. Meditate
• 3. Be organize.
• 4. Create a schedule or timeline
• 5. Get rid of distractions.
• 6. Give efforts
• 7. Encourage themselves
• 8. Avoid over thinking
• 9. Give a break
• 10. Establish a reward
