KEYS, READS, RUN FITS


KEY: EMLOS (TE/T) to near back

 OLB should get a Pass or Run read by reading the EMLOS.

 Pass read- high hat, shoulders back, arms forward- “Pass”

 Run read- fire out, shoulders forward, arms back- “Run”

• Reads Down Block
OLB reads down block by EMLOS, DE end must punch hip and come straight down the line. OLB must condense
down to 3 x 3 and keep condensing as play develops- look for something coming his way, squeeze any kick or
counter action
• Reads Reach Block on DE (no #2)
Get Width as the play develops unless fast flow-then attack. With a reach block on the EMLOS shuffle laterally to
keep your leverage look for lead back or blocker to attack you. Set edge hard if blocker attacks you.
• With a #2 Receiver-Reads Reach Block EMLOS
Beat #2, bench press and keep outside leverage -sweep etc
