    Social media is a website or application that enables users to create, co-create, discuss, modify, and
    exchange user-generated content. This contributes to one of the ICTs: Communication.

    Its 6 types – social networks, bookmarking sites, social news, media sharing – will help students in
    spreading news, updating the student community, and generally enhance communication. USTSHS
    is already known to have various accounts for respective organizations that certainly help students to
    be updated in current events. Group works are also done using social media, and students tend to
    have it for academic use. With the right netiquettes, social media would be a healthful source of
    communication exchange.

    Calendar in smartphones will enable students to save dates, set up reminders, and
    mark important days in a year.
    USTSHS is full of deadlines, events, and a lot of dates to remember! Sometimes
    students tend to forget important dates when they’re busy doing school works,
    setting up a reminder will help them recall it. This will allow students to manage
    their time well and to avoid procrastination.

    Apps that exist to cater your needs can also help students in a lot of ways; Services are easily
    contacted through applications and will be done instantly or after a given time. This can be
    classified to 3 of roles of the ICT, which are in industry, banking, and business.
    Applications such as GCash, PayMaya, etc., can help students to make their financing easier.
    Having your money installed online can avoid holdups and robbery which can be detrimental to
    people. Other services, like Grab, can also help students to ensure their safety in their commute to
    and from home.

    This is one of the purest form of ICT: using technology for basic
    communication. Whenever there is a news or an emergency, it requires
    no sweat to call a friend, for it will reach them immediately. Missing a
    material needed for a project? Students can send a text to their
    classmates to be able to help them.

    enhance the students’ own skills.
